I've been kind of cheering for him since the start, but I with his "impossible" (not if you're thorzain!) bracket I never actually thought he'd go all the way to the finals. That he of all the people would go so far makes me happy also because of the fact that he's a super nice guy irl! :D The reason I know this is because I was at a LAN here in Stockholm early March where he also participated, and even though I never talked to him + Show Spoiler + a friend of mine did, and told me how sweet of a guy he was. So go ThorZaiN!!!!

There, now that's out of my system. On to other, not starcraft-related, things after one short thing about the TSL raffle.
Damn you Chill. Now you actually got me excited and hopeful about this raffle. :| (thankyou) Thing is though, that I've got three shots at winning something! :D First, we have the obvious win a trip to Korea thing which I SO want to win (and I know who I'd bring with me), then we have the shot of winning one of those awesome TL-shirts (I WANT ONE!) and THEN still we have the unofficial raffle that MightyAtom created (shoutout to him and his newborn son TinyAtom, congrats! :D)! A raffle for all the SNSD fans- whom I fell in love with as soon as I first heard their songs *__* I had Genie on repeat for HOURS on youtube back then, it waas soo gooood.... >w> I so want to win that as well, and I'm so happy I got in before that raffle closed!!!! >w<

But now, to some awesomeness that is here, now, and is actually going to affect my life FOR SURE:
I have a job.
Do you know how GOOD that feels to be able to type? And how GOOD it feels to know that every two days at work equals me being able to pay ONE WHOLE MONTH worth of rent more. Since I moved to my own place last August I've barely had an income (two months as a "telemarketer", shitty job), and now, just as my safety net that I had when moving out is soon gone - I'm able to find the best and most well payed job I've ever had. ♥ I almost cried when I got the call this Tuesday with my now new boss calling me and asking if I wanted to come and work this last Thursday. And I got to work yesterday as well.
Where I'll be working? At a warehouse. The same place my dad works actually - though with another employer. I'm a backup-guy for when people call in sick or go take a holiday, which I couldn't have timed better now that summer is about to start. 'Cause I don't know if you've noticed, but summer = everyone wants some time off. That's when I'll jump in and do the work for them, and get the paycheck. :D
And after doing a bit of calculating, with just 20 days of work (~a full four weeks) I'll be able to pay for food+rent until at least next year. Which is great, since I'll be going to a new university this fall, but I can't get any loans for it due to me failing classes at past schools. And the time I'll be able to get a loan again is just after Christmas, so you can see the connection, right?
I'm been stressed about this money issue now for months on end, watching my bank-account getting more and more empty, and now I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! What I did thursday and friday was emptying a 12 meter long freight container full (and I mean FULL) of x number of +20kg boxes, which just me and another guy my age emptied ourselves in one and a half days. I probably don't need to point this out, but after sitting mostly in front of my comp for a couple of months, I'm still pretty sore.
But no rest for me! I need to get up early tomorrow. I'm half-way though a 2-day course to get a certificate that enables me to drive... what's the english word? Trucks? No. Lorries? Hm... Oh well, powered vehicles that lift warehouse-stuffs. (It's late, ok?
) It's not much, but it allows me to apply for SO much more different kinds of work than I can right now, and is something that I'll have for life. Edit: FORKLIFT. Thank you ieatkids5Aaand I actually wanted to write more, but I really need to get some sleep. I'm sure I've mistyped like crazy, but I got to get up in about 6 hours, and then travel for ~2 hours to get where the course is (which is a long time when traveling in Stockholm).
