Time to Work

It's time to get down to some good, old-fashioned, hardcore studying.

Youtube, Teamliquid (news, blogs, debates, etc.), Cracked, Android sites (mostly UI modification), Twitter, Facebook, Brood War, SC2, movies, tennis (*cough* Roger Federer), chatting, cell phone games, among others, lead to very little work done.

Every time I start to get into my mojo, I get distracted again.

These two weeks will consist solely of essential life functions (eating, breathing, etc.), piano, homework, track, and studying. Communication only when necessary.

Be back in two weeks.

This wouldn't work for me. I'd have to check back to this post and see the replies. Kind of obsessive about things like that lol.

Hi.

Haha this is the last day.

I'm terrible at multitasking, but once I focus on something, I obsessively keep at it until I completely destroy it (or whatever my task is).

Hence, once I see some thread on Team Liquid or something, I immediately focus ~100% of my attention on it and related Internet things until I literally look down anywhere from half an hour to several hours later and realize nothing has been accomplished.

Thus, my goal here is to utterly eschew all of these distractions so that I can focus (and when I say focus, it is insane focus :X) on studying, etc. I'm half overly modest and half very very arrogant, but I will say that I think I'll pull through. Already requested 2 week temp ban, but it's all on me to concentrate like a beast...

Try forty minutes >< I'll reply a bit and then after I get banned then it's 100% focus.

2 week temp ban will at least mean I cannot post, but it won't matter because I will not even be glancing at any of my death sites, with the possible exception of facebook, but that doesn't so much drain time as break my focus... ;__;

I actually deactivated my Facebook last Monday so I could get to work on a project I had. And you know what.. I really didn't miss it that much at all and it wasn't really that bad. I did reactiviate my account but I'm nowhere near obsessed with it as I used to be, so hopefully you do the same!
