A friend of mine from Canada asked me to play SC2 with him a few hours ago. It was a TvP match-up and I obviously lost. It was due to me not focused on what kind of build shall I attempt. Oh, and I did not scout on him before he scouted me.
Anyways, he taught me a build that I might be able to use often against the new players which is the 3 Rax Mech Build. After seeing him do that as a spectator, I thought of trying to practice on that. Though I need to develop on the multitasking part a little bit because I end up getting way too much minerals than I know what to do with at the time.
I could refine that build even more, but I still have yet to beat single player (AGAIN!). It always bugs me to think that I am playing multiplayer without finishing the single player at all. But once I do finish the campaign, I will keep on playing multiplayer like there is no tomorrow.
Unless of course the Rebel Yell mod that I downloaded earlier won't tempt me to play that instead. DX

I got into plat before I beat the single player. It would definitly help but it's not necessary. Just keep learning the 3 rax and eventually your mechanics and knowledge of the game will improve enough to move onto newer and better things. :D gl!

Of all the videos Day 9 has ever made, this might be the one I am trying to watch in it's entirety. However, due to the video itself being an hour long based on my connection. It has a tendency of cutting off in less than 20 minutes of the video. I tried downloading the video directly but it seems to have some issues. Might have to check it out again just to be sure.

Yeah the day9 video's are really long, but oh so helpful. Watch other Newbie Tuesday's too, it's a big help.
