GSL Code A Finals Predictions

My predictions in parenthesis
Losira 2-0 Leenock (0-2)
Losira managed to surprise everyone, including me here. In a tense ZvZ, he overall well deserved the victory after perfect drone timings and superior economy in game one, and perfect timing and army production in game 2, let the series look rather one sided, without the big 'ooh's and 'aah's apart from some baneling - zergling encounters.

Alicia 0-2 SuperNova (2-1)
Alicia looking like somewhat the favourite in this matchup aswell, I amongst many others was wrong. SuperNova on the first map, crossfire, won due to a well timed push at Alicias natural, just ignoring the fact that protoss ran on a gold base from the early mid game on. On the second map, Shakuras, things started to look grim for SuperNova when Alicia pushed him after he overextended himself with a hidden third base, but Alicia got too greedy and pushed into the mainbase of SuperNova too far while a sneaky banshee managed to kill all his probes at home, and as, after setting everything in flames, Alicias forces were tydied up, he had no economy to defend left.

Losira vs. SuperNoVa

Crevasse...
This map is big as we know, and I feel, although some Zerg struggle with passive Terrans on here like SuperNova is, Losira is very patient and will play out his strenghts.

Xel'Naga Caverns...
The way SuperNova tends to play, I see Losira having trouble here. After SuperNova establishes the gold, and he will, the slow death push will come and kill Losira

Crossfire SE...
This is the map I would expect Losira to cheese on, or at least play hyperaggressive, if he will ever. I expect him too, maybe some high economy baneling busting, but SuperNova will be prepared and fend it off.

Metalopolis...
This map depends on spawn positions of course hugely, but I think Losira will get the bad luck here and spawn close, double rax opening will do quite some damage and SuperNova cleans up.

Tal'Darim Altar...
Losira needs to put his stuff together from here, and couldnt wish for a better map. He will pin down SuperNova with massive Muta forces, and deny movement for a very long time, with a deadly Hive Tech push in the end.

Terminus Re...
Another very Muta friendly map, this will end up in a huge slaughter of macro. I expect Losira to again control the game in midgame with mutalisks, and SuperNova will eventually run out of money, losing one of his three bases, fortifying a planetary at the fourth, and losing it in the end to massive economy of Losira.

Crevasse...
The deciding fifth map, we all wish for. I expect SuperNova, after losing a 3-1 advantage, getting impatient in midgame, moving out to fast, get cleaned up and die to the counter, leaving Losira the Code A champion.
