I think it's more a long the lines of:
Huk: "Hey Min-Chul, I met a girl at Assembly!"
MC: "No way, I bet it was a guy."
Huk: "I'll take that action - half your GSL winnings, I can prove it was a girl!"
So now he has to prove it by getting back in contact with the mysterious fan.
