Day[9] replaced on State of the Game
In a shocking announcement today, J.P. McDaniel, host of State of the Game, announced that Sean “Day[9]” Plott, one of the four pillars of State of the Game, has been replaced. In his place will be a recording of Sean laughing hysterically as he is known to do on the show.

“Day[9] has been a pillar of State of the Game since its inception,” stated J.P. during the announcement, “but, frankly, he just doesn't really add anything to the show and his laughing was downright inappropriate at times. So, we decided to replace him with a brief recording of his laugh, since that's all he does anyway. When played at the proper time, his laugh is actually quite insightful.”
J.P. cited a specific example where Sean's hysterics were disrupting the show. “We were trying to have a serious discussion about horses, and Sean was just cackling in the background, totally ruining our conversation. We even tried to bring the topic up a second time when Geoff's girlfriend, Anna, came on the show. She is crazy about horses and loves to ride them, so we were discussing this in-depth. But, of course, Sean decided that horses were funny for some reason and started laughing like crazy and didn't let us continue our discussion.”
When asked about Day[9] and the incident involving Anna, Geoff “iNcontroL” Robinson simply said “...it is over the line. Poor taste imo”.
Many fans have also speculated that all the hosts of the show will be replaced in the future. The general consensus is that J.P. will be replaced with a series of awkward transitions, Geoff will be replaced with a ranting resident of an insane asylum, and Tyler will be replaced with a freezer as shown below.

As for Day[9], it is believed that he will use the free time to practice his innovative style of Karate.
