What got me through it was to start hating the person who killed himself. Suicide is just about the most selfish act of all imo. RIP | ||

The thing with friend commiting suicide is, I learned, you are completely blindsided by it. You think your friend is just fine, but then, BOOM, for no reason whatsoever (to unsuspecting friends) they commit suicide. It really is "wtf dude, why didn't you talk your problems out with us?" RIP | ||

Everyone copes in their own way and in a situation like this it is far better to just state your own view if you need to but not to contradict someone else imo. Losing someone close to you means you basically get to feel whatever you want. I'm very sorry you lost your friend. | ||

A way out for themselves. But if there are people who love you and you think about killing yourself, you shouldn't think about what the suicide does for you (because it obviously rids yourself of all problems you ever had, currently have, or would have in the future). You should think about what it does to the people around you. | ||

It is the ultimate decision, and consider the deep suffering that person was experiencing as they personally chose to say goodbye, forever, to everyone they love. If I had a friend who was suffering that much, and it could not be solved, then I would not want him/her to stick around just to please me. | ||

I lost a friend back in November, but due to my irregular sleeping patterns; I didn't find out until December, thus missing the funeral. Died in a car accident. He was the only friend I truly cherished during my racist-heavy high-school where no one took me seriously or gave me an ounce of respect. He just started Starcraft when I saw him after a long time of being apart. I'm sorry for your loss. | ||
