Wow looks pretty good for a straight build. Shame its no 1/12 though otherwise you could get a tamiya bike and put them together heheh

Thanks. I never made it to Dolpa. It starts at 5pm and I was already home by 4pm. In and out very quickly. Although, one of the girls did show me a dress from Dolpa that was very nice, but very expensive. Already spent a fortune there, but don't seem to have much to show for it.

@Cgivisionary - that's a shame :S Maybe we can go to one of the others. Although, I doubt I'll buy anything. As much as I like Volks now that I can go to Dollmore for most of my items (and possibly this Doll Fair Toel_uru mentioned.) then I'm less willing to pay their prices.
It's handy to be able to go there for actual dollfies though, and cheap figures/nendo pre-orders etc :D

Well, I won't go to Dollmore until I live in Seoul. It's way too far for me. I still have a few more things to pick up at Volks on Saturday and then that's it for me for quite a while. I need to curb my spending until after moving.

Most gundam builders don't even consider SD as a proper line :3
Iono i guess i like things in their miniature versions.
@NeverGG yea i definitely agree with you! I really need to just not care at all haha
Oh yea another question for everyone. Do you guys keep the boxes that your figures come in? Or do you throw it away or do something creative with them?

I originally kept all my boxes but once my collection got to a certain size it was impossible to keep them all. I throw out all figma and nendoroid boxes as soon as I unpack them now. I keep the parts in clear plastic containers (thanks to NeverGG for this idea).
I still keep the boxes for some of my scale figures - especially if they come with lots of alternative parts, drama CDs, doujins or art books etc. I did make a backdrop out of one of my Lucky Star figure boxes but so far I haven't used it for anything interesting.

I still have all my figures in boxes. But, my collection is very small right now. That may change when I get more. This is especially hard for me as I have to haul them all the way across the world whenever I move, or change jobs! Maybe I should not have started this hobby!

I literally don't have the space to keep the boxes. The only one I've kept is my Dollfie Dream box for Mai. I sent the Black Rock Shooter Bluray box home since it was so pretty. I tend to have a longish train journey home after shopping So, I'll unpack my nendy and figma boxes, and then throw them out as soon as I reach the station. The little bags the figma come with are so handy for storage. I keep all my spares of those folded into one bag.
As for spare parts - I have a plastic box with a lid containing several highly organized mini boxes with sections. They're split into categories like 'nendoroid heads', 'figma props' etc. I am a super nerd with too much time on her hands.

This is a contender for figure of the year.
On the other hand, I am scared of the shipping costs T_T
|
Shipping wasn't too bad at all. Only 2880 yen for registered EMS. It might be a little more to ship to the US though - I'm not sure. Would have been much less if I used SAL instead but I always use EMS for scale figures because the boxes tend to arrive in better condition.
Was much cheaper than the shipping I ended up paying for Hanzo which was FedEx from the US. That Ended up being around $75 USD I think.
Still worth it :D

i paid 12760 JPY total for her, can't wait to finally get her. I think this one will double its value in no time (similar to Saber Lily)

Yeah I'm almost regretting not preordering 2 haha.

Well FedEx is as expensive as you can go. When Amazon.jp switched to FedEx Express and canceled DHL Economy I almost stopped ordering books; its just not cost efficient.
As of boxes; I have them all. My collection is mostly boxed since I still don't have the shelving setup in the new apartment, but that's my next project after the home theater. Unfortunately, six years of collectibles take a lot of space, so I have a storage unit ^^;; Mist probably will keep them all, since I don't know where I'll be five years from now.

Any clue where I can get plastic displays? I'm getting sick of the dust issue

I custom order them. See if you can find an acrylic shop on the yellow pages (business directory, etc) . They might be more expensive, but you get the right dimensions and better materials.

I wasn't sure before, but now I am after seeing this review. I've seen her here at one of the stores I go to somewhere along the way before already. I don't recall where or when, though. Maybe. Or could it be my mind is playing tricks on me!. Dunno. I didn't want to get her because she scares me!
