So...I was gonna change my ingame name today, and go for my good old brood war nick, which was Korean-MILF.
But when I was gonna finally change it, I tried entering KoreanMILF into the new name field, and that was when shit hit the fan.
The game told me to try a different name...so well, i just figured out MILF was banned from being in gamenames...but I just had to try some other combinations...so i entered ArabianMILF, instead of KoreanMILF...
And that was obviously a name which Blizzard found to be more apropriate than KoreanMILF.
So here I am...I don`t have the nick I wanted...i wonder why Blizzard banned "Korean" from gamenames, and currently I`m waiting for a mail from Blizzard, where I hope they have answered the question above, and hopefully they will give me KoreanMILF back.
I mean...if they won`t give me KoreanMILF back, they kinda goes against themselves allowing me to use ArabianMILF instead...
Anyone else been into similar situations?

ArabianMILF is funnier, stick with that in my opinion

If you can't come up with a more mature name I think you got what you deserve.

Haha, your nick is hilarious. Are you Arabian though?
Maybe they are tracking whether person taking nationality realted nick indeed has roots from that country?

This guy knows what's up. Brilliant! I've always thought that nicknames are a covert ethnicity tracking system.

It's just more pointless censorship.Take the language filter and how it censors 'gay' but not 'lesbian' etc.
Just typical Amerikan stuff, y'know?
Speaking of account names, I thought of the perfect name ever and wanted to change, only to realize SC2 only allows TWELVE characters in a name, down from 15 in WC3/SC, and doesn't allow anything but letters.
Bnet 2.0 sucks =(

I'm wondering if I should stay Yandere or tie things back with Loser777. But I'd just be a Loser with a set of random numbers D:

I agree with this guy. Why would you try to fuck around wiht a system that gives you one shot anyways? Did you think it'd be so hilarious to yourself and yourself only that you'd try ArabianMILF? Serves you right.

Well...the thing is that I came up with it several years ago, and I want it because I have used it for so many years in BW, and want to continue using it on sc2. But you don`t find it weird that I could use ArabianMILF, and not KoreanMILF? It didn`t ring any kind of bell?

You got what you deserved imo. Mailing Blizzard, bringing attention to your ID, will probably just get you banned.
|
I think it is weird that they blocked one but not the other, that doesn't excuse your original name, and doesn't mean that blizzard will at all allow you to keep your original intended name. lol. They'd likely rather ban the account than let you keep the name. They'll probalby just ask you for a new name that they'll agree with, and you'll have to go with it.
