Being relatively new, I don't think we know each other. However, reading through this post made me smile--as if I were able to personally relate to the content. We often think of teamliquid as a site in terms of its longevity and the changes/improvements that it's undergone in these eight years, but in doing so we forget about the people that have made this site what it is.
Happy eight years, and thank you for all that you've done!

I remember first coming here just after kal lost to jaedong and flash beat stork, and registering when Best was making his run at silver and the pretender annihilated jaedong.
I remember this one poster from China with a pink name would post translations kind of infrequently, but they'd always be a pleasant surprise.
Thanks for staying with this community...and contributing, unlike a lot of us (including me! XD). happy 8 years~!
