TvP BW Battle Report!

So the hero terran (me) is spawning at the 10 o'clock position..


..while the protoss is spawning at the 5 o'clock position.


I go for a siege expand while the toss is going one gate with a zealot first at the ramp, thinking I won't be able to scout him. But I have a ninja SCV was able to sneak it in anyway! And what do I see? ...

A robo bay!


Being scared of the RIBORIBORIBORIBORIBO(reaver) I throw down an ebay and put down like 6-7 turrets (!). Better safe than sorry right? Turns out he went for..

..observers.


I float my CC to my nat and put down an armory while the toss continues with taking his natural.




BUT WHAT IS THIS?!?



He then proceeds to take yet an other expand and since I'm bad at spending my minerals I add a factory and a CC to float it to my third when the time comes. So far so good. Until...


However, my turrets are imba vs shuttles and the harass is quickly repelled.

I bet that reaver is feeling pretty uncomfortable in that shuttle.

It's time to float my CC to my third! The protoss goes on and takes his fourth. Notice my high mineral count.



How to get rid of the minerals?

Factories, more factories!

Next the protoss tries to snipe my CC!

Meanwhile toss takes his fifth expansion and decides it's time for an attack!


17 kill reaver, mostly vultures


The reaver fires...

...and by the looks for this picture it scores bigtime.

And it scores again before it dies as a hero reaver with 30+ kills


Nothing more than a few pokes with vultures and dragoons picking off mines happens in the next few minutes. Next my +2 attack upgrade finishes and my +2 armour is close to finish as well so it's time for THE BIG PUSH.

C- macro, make more factories than fits the screen, still queue up.

The protoss takes the top right main as his sixth expand while I try to be manly like Oov and double expands.


Planting mines like a boss!

Kill cannons like a boss!

Counter attack like a toss!

Pull back without leaving a few units to kill his now naked expansion like a boss!


My vultures defends his small counter attack and now I'm regrouping to attack his natural where all his units are and not his completely naked expand at the 7 o'clock main and his exposed mineral only outside said main. C- logic at it's finest.

His small army..

..vs my big army. There can only be one outcome and he pulls back even further, and tries to counter my third. Base trade!

Ah there it is!



I take the mineral only again and push toward his top right expansion.

Tit(s) of pain, BW edition.

While I'm killing his top right expansion the toss decides it's time to take his "2nd natural" and to counterattack my mineral only at 9 o'clock.


The "Terran Ball" (look at minimap).


I defend the attack and expand at the top right natural and start to push down towards bottom left.

He counters my building expo and tries to defend his expand at the same time.





He counter attacks my mineral only again but my vultures comes to the rescue!


And I also manage to save my fifth expansion!



I push down toward his main again and a new huge battle begins!





I'm getting a little cocky and thinks I can 1a2a3a4a5a my way to victory..

Big mistake.

Oh, remember my top right expansion that I saved?


Me neither.


My queuing maco is impeccable and soon I have yet another army marching toward his bottom left expansions. Will they finally die this time?!

In a last attempt to stay in the game he kills off my top right expansion at the cost of his remaining army.
