About 2 months ago, my cousin had her tire blow out on the highway while going @ 60 MPH. She couldn't regain control of her car after the blowout and ended up grinding against the middle divider. Her car was totaled. Something like $9k in damage.
The very next day after that, I get into an accident. It was my fault, since I was being an idiot. I ended up losing control of my car on an on ramp and smacked right into the curb. I cracked 2 wheels (some strong ass wheels too) and bent a suspension component. About $2.6k in damages.
Faster forward to yesterday and my aunt gets into a car accident. She was making a left turn on a pretty dangerous intersection here in town. You can't see the cars coming in front of you until they are right there in your face. Some SUV came out of nowhere and hit her car as she was making the left turn. No one was hurt. The SUV sustained about $700 in damages (Just needs a new front bumper) and my Aunt's car has a good $3k-$4k. It's probably another car that's going to get totaled.
And today, my cousin hits a fucking deer on her way to Philadelphia. I haven't seen the car yet, but it seems like the whole front end is fucked up. It kind of sucks too because she just got the car about 3 weeks ago.
What in the hell are the odds that we get into accidents one right after another? It makes absolutely no sense in my mind. Every time one of our relatives or family members get into a car accident, we make sure to drive carefully since it freaks all of us out a bit, but we still get into accidents.
Edit - Please don't say any "You should be thankful no one got hurt" responses as a way to insult me. I am thankful no one got hurt. That really should go without saying.
