EPTHey everyone, over a year ago there was a phenomenal A-/A 2x2 player by the name of "PewPewPrincess" aka " Metal[x] releasing multiple high level replay packs for the BW community. I wanted to find out more about the person behind the "PewPewPrincess" name and had a small interview with him. With out further adieu heres PewPewPrincess.
ZeroMicro: Thank you for taking your time to run this interview with us : ). Starting things off, whats your name and where are you from?
PewPewPrincess: No problem, my pleasure. My name is Andrew and i'm from US.
ZeroMicro: Nice to meet you Andrew, it's certainly a pleasure having you with us. Have you always played 2x2 or did you transition from 1x1?
PewPewPrincess: I use to play primarily 1v1 6-7 years ago, then started 2v2ing towards the last few seasons of PGT.
ZeroMicro: I see, thats a long time. Where there any players that inspired you in 2x2?
PewPewPrincess: There were 3 players that were the top of PGT every season who I basically looked up to. Must aka Yan, Red_ScorpiO aka eth/lastgosu,and LJT.
ZeroMicro: Very good players indeed, that being said are there any people that you respect who are currently active in the ladder?
PewPewPrincess: No one that is active anymore. Capigui was the best 2v2er though other than Justin/Flower. He plays brainclan now though.
ZeroMicro: I see, and do you have anyone you ally with in particular? Or do you play with random allys?
PewPewPrincess: Primarily ally friends and people I know. Most of them went to sc2 or quit however. So, slim pickings! lol I'll ally random people sometimes whenever I don't have an ally and just want to play.
ZeroMicro: Ah ok. talking about sc2, any chance of seeing you entering the growing sc2 scene?
PewPewPrincess: If someone buys buy me a comp that can handle it. Sure, i'll give it a go!
ZeroMicro: Hehe maybe a sponsor will take you up on it when they read this interview

ZeroMicro: And whats your favorite/best races? your favorite/least favorite match ups?
PewPewPrincess: Favorite race is protoss because i don't play it often, only when i'm messing around. My main race is Terran. Favorite mu is TZ v ZZ because I always liked to TvZ in 1;1. Least favorite is TZ v TZ just because..i don't like it. hah
ZeroMicro: Haha i see, and what advise would you give to anyone trying to improve in 2x2?
PewPewPrincess: Play play play! there aren't many different strategies in 2v2, so you will most likely see the same thing w/ slight variations. The most important thing is timings, and you will learn them by playing and watching replays.
ZeroMicro: Deffinitely, and talking about replays, any hints when we will be seeing future reppacks? : )
PewPewPrincess: I'll upload last season reppack within the week. I'll probably include the previous few seasons that i never uploaded too.
ZeroMicro: Thats great news, and thank you for contributing with the BW community, and we all greateful being able to see high level games in such quantity : )
