This definitely doesn't have anything to do with balance. Missile turrets in SC1 sound like toys and do about as much damage as bubbles. I never really cared about SC1 missile turrets unless there were thirty of them.

Missile turrets in SC2 make terrifying noises and immediately gain my attention. They scare me. And my mutas. I'm not implying anything about balance, that's not what this thread is for.

When I first played SC2 I wasn't aware that turrets were like 10x stronger. I couldn't understand why my mutas were dying so fast until I went on Liquipedia II to look up the stats.

This is so true. The first time that I tried to harass terran in SC2 I nearly fell out of my chair clicking my mutas out of his base because the turret sound was so terrifying.

Lol, I remember when I had a group of 20 muta (perhaps a slight exaggeration, but a lot) and tried to kill one turret and the repair healed it faster than my whole group of muta could damage T_T oh sc2 mutas, you'd think it'd be all better without irradiate.

Mutas ARE much better in SC2 because of no more irradiate and being able to have more than 12 in one group. Look at the game between Maka and Nestea on Xel Naga (game 2 I think), Maka was pinned in his base forever and built tons of turrets. 20 mutas > 1 turret (thats 180 dmg from a round of muta attack)

So this has now been changed to a blog simply focused on SC related comics, rather than differences between SC1 and SC2. Hopefully it will make you laugh. Being a forum noob, I do not know how to change the title (If a mod has the time to change the title to "SC2 comics" or something equivalent that'd rock).
