Its low DPI makes it extremely hard to use in high resolutions :/
It was fine in Broodwar because it ran in 640x480

You forget that bw is 10 years old and this was one of the first optical mouses that was cheap.

I still have the Ball version which i want to get it signed by boxer if I meet him.

It's cheap, the shape is nice and they love to copy each other.

I got one a few years ago and shapewise its still my favorite mouse, it's a shame the sensor is so outdated and you'll either have to play at very high sensitivity which results in pixel skipping or a low sensitivity + tons of weird acceleration whenever you move the mouse quickly.

For BW players its an obvious choice at $10 assuming it fits your hands, if you're playing a more modern game you'll probably want to get a mouse with a non-shitty sensor.

I have one stashed away somewhere. I like the shape a lot, but I can't use the mouse because it bugs out in Quake when I do a 180 degree turn, because my preferred mouse sensitivity is too low and I have to move my hand too fast and too far while playing. The mouse reminds me of the first generation optical mice from ten years ago, where you weren't sure if you really want to switch to them from your ball mouse.

Additionally there's the problem with 400 dpi plus high resolutions of today's screens. Chilling on the Windows desktop and browsing around, the mouse feels like too much work to me.

I use one in SCII, but I'm not good. I also used it in BW. In any case I run the lowest 16:9 resolution and it's fine, although the mouse sensitivity is at like 8/11. You don't need pixel perfection in SC II I feel.

I love the shape and feeling SO MUCH for fingertip grip. I'd buy a fancy mouse like Abyssus or Kinzu but I'm afraid the feel won't be as sublime and sexual.

Edit: I should clarify my argument is I'm not good, but the mouse is not holding me back. I don't really ever misclick.

The price is 50 now which is insane if i consider it was on sale for 10. However i would really like to get this mouse and i can't find it available anywhere in Europe. Still i could have it shipped to my friend's address in Florida, but where should i get it now? I mean 50 is a hell lot for this mouse, even it is the best one for Brood war. Anybody knows please?

ahhh i remember this mouse in episode 4 of Nal_rA oldboy show. Kingdom gifts this mouse to Nalra but when he tried to use it.......he didnt liked it..switched back to ball mouse..;D
