I hadn't played in nearly 2 weeks before today, but I managed to qualify for the ro32 later this month so I'm pretty stoked.
My losses were somewhat frustrating. My first game in 2 weeks was against Neans, who readily kicked my head in. I was doing alright, but I slipped on macro. He also sniped 2 Obs with some scans which I had to replace, delaying my HT tech too long.
My 2nd loss was just a major mistake on my part. PvP on Blistering Sands, and I scout a 10gate and saved Chrono on his Nexus. I immediately assumed he was Korean4Gating me, so I hide my Probe in his base, cut Probes and get up to 4 Gates of my own.
I take my Probe back into his main to check it out and see 2 Gates being Chrono'd, followed by a Zealot and Stalker coming up my ramp. He got the jump on my single Zealot, and with no units in production and more units coming my way, I GG'd.
I was pretty pissed off that I lost to mess up in intel, but at least I know I need to check back sooner next time.
Going 6-2 for my first LAN and qualifying for the final day isn't too shabby. I guess I'll have to train a lot over the next few weeks if I want a shot at winning anything cool.
