My opinion is that all of this BM going back and forth is good for development of e-sports (SC2-wise). As many of you have mentioned here and in interview translation threads, we don't want any more of "I will try my best, thanks to my practice partners, I practiced really hard, thank you coach, I got lucky since I had better strategy" cliche. Instead we want drama, we want strong and unique characters, we want it to get personal.
That's where IdrA comes in. He is bringing hate and initiating a whole chain of love-and-hate drama around SC2 e-sports in Korea. Isn't it awesome? Instead of relying on the fanbase to create artificial rivalries, we can get them naturally from players being fueled by each other's BM.
Screw arguing about skills and talent and stuff, just sit back and lol @ the drama.
In Korea though, that is expected. Different cultures have different opinions of what they expect. In Korea they would expect the bolded text, in America, there is a greater tendency to love the trash-talkers, controversy-stirrers (a la Chad Johnson, T.O, etc.)

Pretty funny comments. Thanks for translating.

lol, you are so wrong. Korean netizens are trolls themselves. If you follow Kpop then you know what I mean. Korean netizens often bitch and complain about the smallest shit even if they don't agree since they follow the majority of the other trolls.
I an IdrA fan and I personally think it's funny how Zenio acted at the end of the game. IdrA deserved it obviously, but this will just drive IdrA to practice more, so he can take the title at MLG Dallas.
If you guys honestly think that IdrA acts like a total dick IRL then you're wrong. Some people act differently online to psyche out their opponents. It is nerd rage most of the time, but it's more of a gamer persona than their actual attitude.

While i like players that do ceremonies and trolling, i'm not sure Greg is worthy of all the koreans' spite. He's been fairly respectable to other koreans (comparatively, maybe exempting a few posts), and they flame him rather needlessly. However, they are korean netizens, and with their reputation for trolling, i'm not sure i'm very surprised.

i've seen Idra IRL before though.. he's fine as a person, but well, having made nasty comments still wont render u any form of respect though..

That was the greatest image in my head ever. Thank you.
EDIT: Although the people saying they hope Idra wins GSL, not gonna happen as long as he has to play any ZvZ. And to be honest, at GSL he has yet to beat anyone noteworthy, and in season 1 lost to a no-namer. His road to Ro16 in both seasons has been astonishingly easy.

Kimchi is spicy cabbage.
Anyway this is really bad for Idra. He is becoming increasing isolated from the korean community and his fellow progamers.
oGs as a team has done very well in the GSL. This is because they have the support of the team where high-level players help each other out to win matches. Idra meanwhile has only Artosis or other weaker US players. No matter how much talent Idra has, he still needs a team and maybe coaches to help develop his skill.
I really wish Idra had joined oGs or TL instead of team EG.

He BM'd some of the oGs players so I doubt either team would have him

He could see if the new werra clan would have him? ^_^

imo "BM" is only ok if it's funny!
very fine line tho and highly subjective.
as an asian american, i feel like westerners make many more statements that are only intended to provoke.

Idra really sucks against cheese and all-ins, so him joining werra would be pretty bad. He'd just get raped all the time
