So I combined the above and came up with a standardized rating system specifically for Turret Defense games.
You start with 1000 Turret points. Winning a game gets you 5 x (# of levels) Turret points, losing gets you 35 Turret points deducted.
Shown below is the range of turret points and its approximate equivalent on iCCup.
Turret Points:
0 = (Olympic)
0 - 200 = (A+)
200 - 800 = (A)
800 - 2000 = (A-)
2000 - 3000 = (B+)
3000 - 4000 = (B)
4000 - 5000 = (B-)
5000 - 6000 = (C+)
6000 - 7000 = (C)
7000 - 8000 = (C-)
8000 - 9000 = (D)
9000 - 9500 = (C)
9500 - 10000 = (B)
10000 - 10010 = (Olympic)
10010 - 11000 = (B-)
11000 + = (E)
The currency of every Turret defense game under this system changes to following ratings points.
x = a previously agreed number
y = another previously agreed number
1x = Build a Turret
4y = Build a low-tier unit
7y = Build a mid-tier unit
10y = Build a high-tier unit
Units between tiers will be adjusted as necessary.
Hence, Turret points are not technically just a rating, they are also a sort of standardized currency.
And everyone with > 20 000 rating points will be eligible for proleague.
Did I take this too far?
