Before I had no problem dealing with Terran players. I come back after one week, and Terran players have gotten so much better now. I've started running into players that are just making great plays and abusing the Terran tech so well that I can't keep up as a Zerg player.
Like tonight I faced this guy who had responded extremely fast to my awesome Muta timing right when he pushed my front right after his bancheese with a tank, banshee, hellion mix. I defended the bancheese, the initial ugly tank push, then he got me good with a friggin Viking thor tank marine push =_=. Needless to say this guy was really aggressive, and did a great job at doing so.
*sigh* I feel like I fell behind the competition because of real life issues, its extremely discouraging to be crushed so badly, and more importantly its not even fun.
Is it possible to catch up to these players in skill? Or will I forever be doomed to gradually be demoted down and never be able to come back on top? I got raped so badly that shit- I think I'm a little traumatized.... goddamn I was never scared of ZvT before and now I'm afraid to log back on.

I switched from Terran to Protoss and the only games I've won in 15 games is one where he dropped and another where I played T one game out of frustration. So yeah, I'm feeling about the same way.

i actually like to stay away from mutas just cause they can be so easy to shut down and are such a heavy investment. i like to quick tech to hydras, then backtrack to roaches, with some nydus or drop play mixed in, and some infestors, then semi quickly tech to ultras. zerglings as required. idk what league you're in, but don't give up. id also watch psystarcraft videos on youtube, hes a zerg who likes trying out new cool shit, like dropping roaches on tanks and banelings on marines and other cool stuff.
i say abuse your shit, nyduses are pretty damn lethal, as are overlord drops. for example, if you cut the distance between your units and a tank ball, say by dropping zerglings, banelings, roaches in the middle/ all through them, they get to be pretty potent.
EDIT: oh and play some custom or 4v4, shitty players will make you feel good about yourself again, lol

What do you want us to say?
You got rolled by someone better, improve and it won't happen again.

Yep.
Actually I felt quite intimidated by zerg for a little while. After my placement matched, I was put in mid gold division. Then I played primarily TvT and some TvP for a long time before encountering any zerg. I fairly quickly got put in platinum division. And thats where the problems began. I started gettting cruuuushed by every zerg I faced. Mainly muta/ling/baneling. I simply could not figure out how to stop zerg (with the new "magic box" for mutas) muta harass with my marines with zerglings encircling my marines and baneling decimating my entire army. If I even had barely too many marauders id get crushed. But, if I had mainly marines with a few marauders than Id get owned. If I tried quick vikings, I usually didnt have enough ground stuff to stop ling/baneling. So, Im taking a small break from SC2 waiting for blizzard to stop destroying terran with balance patches. until then, gonna focus on finishing my project car, and spend some time working out.

I dunno, say what you want, I expect the troll train and flaming every time I post something here lol. I'm just trying to recover from getting pwnt so hard =P.
But yeah, I got a lot of improving to do. I've got to see how Zerg deal with such good aggression now. Right now I'm guessing react faster and more effectively etc (as always lol). But damn man that Terran I played was real good at keeping me shut out of his base, couldn't get a single scout through.
How have Zergs been doing since the patch? Have things evened out at all or have they gone for the worst?

Cool's been doing amazing, I don't know about the rest of the zergs. I don't want to give you gameplay advice (I'd play Zerg if I knew how to play Zerg :p), so we can just hate on Terran together or something.
I do find PvZ slightly harder, at least, so it's not all bad.
