So today is the first real post about my mission to go from platinum 50ish to diamond 1(or top 10 really) so let's not waste any time and get on with it!.

Overal:l I get supply blocked way too much, I'm improving for sure, but it still needs a lot of work.
ZvZ: I started out with some vague muta / zergling build for the last game I decided to try out some infestor zergling which I think I'm gonna screw around with a bit more today.
ZvT: I started with some infestor / zergling in mind but after getting stomped by drops all over in a
game I feel I should have won I'm starting to doubt weather I should stick with it or switch.
ZvP: I started with just mass roaches (imo protoss can't really counter roaches too great besides immortals) but quickly decided to switch to a more zergling heavy army, I quite like my ZvP where it is for now so I'm gonna stick with this for a while and see how it goes.

What games did you win/lose in terms of races? (I haven't watched the replays but I think it would be interesting to note).

I lost my 1 (and only) game vs terran, I feel though that was due to my play more so then anything amazing he did. 2 vs zerg (1 with infestor build and 1 with muta/ling, I think I just overcommited with mutas) and 1 vs protoss.
Perhaps interesting to note however is every game I lost (besides the infestor vs zerg one) was on Xel'naga caverns.
I definately think my ZvZ is my weakest matchup right now but I'm hoping I can get this infestor zergling play working and change that.

GL, i wrote a pretty long entry on going from bronze (wasn't really a bronze player, but honestly the placement system is fuxed) to diamond a while back, and now i'm close to 1100pt diamond rank! It is helpful to keep a sort of journal of things you want to be improving on, and focus SOLELY on those things each game.
remember- division rank in diamond depends on the other players in the division. if you are put in a relatively new division keeping rank 1-5 is usually easy if you play a lot. When my division was new i was rank 6 for a few days, but now its very hard to keep rank 15ish even with a 60% overall win ratio.
