after being on tl.net for a longg time and seeing people talk about how much they love razers and well, i also thought it was awesome that razer helped sponsor TL too

so i planned to buy some of their stuff somewhere down the line and well today is that day.

i bought a lycosa backlit keyboard. (ive been using the logitech wave and really like the curve of it); so im taking time just readjusting to a "normal" keyboard but the rubberish keys feel awesome and the backlight is neat too

and for the mouse

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM???
i got the deathadder razer and the buttons are extremely easy to click. i understand why gamers would like that but i mean, even when im just resting and leaving my hand idle on the mouse, the weight alone of my fingers start clicking. its sooo annoying. what the mother heck !!!!!

i have to actively flex my fingers so that they dont like fall on the clicks when im just trying to read something like an article.

I have the deathadder, I think its great. As for the "extremely easy to click" mouse buttons, do you use a Palm grip? Razer mice are really designed for claw grips, otherwise you run into problems such as inadvertently clicking.

EDIT: Actually, I just tried palm gripping my Deathadder, it doesn't inadvertently click for me. So I really don't know how youre doing it O.o

yea. i like to palm the mouse. because i dont really game that much so it's a habit for me to just rest the whole hand on the mouse.

and i keep clicking non stop. i cant control it!!

are all razers like this? i mean cuz i'd really like a razer but if they are all like this then i dont think i can keep it. its just not my cup of tea... everything else about it is awesome. just.. i cant stop clicking accidentally.

You just need to get used to it. I had this issue too when I switched from Logitech MX500 to Razer Copperhead.

I changed my grip and suddenly it all made sense =)

I've always wanted to buy Razer stuff, especially since they sponsored the TSL, but even before that...

Problem is it's just always so damn expensive. =(

Razer deathadder is a palm grip mouse. It was designed that way. It's design is a near replica of the intellimouse explorer 3.0 save a higher arch( making the mouse more comfortable in my opinion compared to the intellimouse explorer 3.0). Death adder, Imperator, and Mamba are definitely designed as Palm grip mice. And if you ever have sweaty hand syndrome due to the glossy sides, I found that getting some painter's tape (blue tape) and covering the sides will help you grip the mouse LOADS better. My hands would lose grip on the sides of the death adder after about 30 minutes so I made this quick fix.

For your clicking, i find that you rest the weight of your mouse toward the middle back where your palm is, you'll avoid that problem. I had your same problem the first day I got my Death Adder. I was still using my Intellimouse explorer and wasn't used to the extremely sensitive left/right click.

I claw grip my deathadder and it's the best mouse i've ever used w/ razer mantis speed pad. Can't say sensitive buttons is a problem for me either grip.

I use a palm grip on my DeathAdder and it's alright. I guess just give it a couple of days and see if you adjust to it

I've been thinking about buying some razer products myself, do they actually make a noticeable difference with mouse speed/accuracy?
Not bad for a cat toy.

Yes. Im on another computer with a regular Logitech mouse. Since this wasent a high end computer i decided to play some Osu! And it was disastrous The mouses accuracy was horrible for it. I got my deathadder from my other computer and could easily do the higher difficulty.

The accidental clicking might be because you are used to another mouse - a mouse that required more effort to click I guess? I claw with my ancient copperhead... so I don't know about palm-ers.

Once you use the mouse for a few days you will stop the accidental click thing, it happened to me too when i bought my deathadder. Now that im used to it it never happens.

Everytime I change mouses that happens to me lol, I keep on clicking when I'm just resting... After some time you get used to it and don't click it anymore. (I have a deathadder)

heyy guys

my hand in general isnt that big and my fingers arent like freakishly long.
maybe i am not used to it but man.. i do misclick a lot...

and for the person who said too bad about me getting the Lycosa keyboard..

i wasn't willing to spend more than what the lycosa was going for...

and the one underneath it, the arctosa i think? didn't have backlight and i thought the backlight aspect of the lycosa was cool. but i feel that you're right. because of the rubberish material, it does seem like it can attract a lot of like dandruff or whatever. and the plastic, glossy finish will definitely keep fingerprint smudges.

oh well... you kept the keyboard for 2 years didnt u?? =) good enough for me!
