CoD1/CoD2
If everyone is down, I think these are way more fun that MW

sounds like fun haha. you should look up some custom Warcraft 3 maps, some of them are pretty fun and hilarious.

most of the people arent that picky with games, aslong its fun they will fine with it ^^ CoD1&2 is better then MW? o___o

Left 4 dead is really cool if the LAN is relatively small (8 players max on vs). I strongly recomend battlefield series or unreal tournament, fps gallore, it's epic. Racers like Blur or split second do the job extremely well too, it's easy to spend 8 hours on a race game that originaly started because you were wiating for some to set up. quake if you're oldschool, and of course BroodWar!

My friend had a LAN party recently, and the most popular game was Day of Defeat:Source. It sort of levels the playing field so that people who aren't great at FPS can do ok against people who are. I, a semi-competent FPS player, was able to run around with the smg and get about a 1/1 kill to death ratio while my friend who is terrible at FPS was able to camp important locations with the machine gun and get tons of kills while the good FPS players were using their superior accuracy to gun people down with rifles. Oftentimes the action would get really intense with shouts of "CAP THAT POINT", "COVER ME!", or "DIE NAZI SCUM!" It worked best in the range of 4v4 through 8v8.

You got bomberman in your list, so the most important one is covered.
I'd suggest you look into micro machines. Dos era games, should run okay on dosbox. Although it doesn't run over lan, it's a shared screen experience, which is actually really good.
A good arcade racer game would be nice. Wipeout xl, or Revolt. What's the modern day equivalent of those? Ah forget it the old stuff rocks ^_^

How many people are gonna be there?
Try Serious Sam or Diablo for some fun cooperative play.

6 people are gonna stay for the full lan party(starts friday night, well end on sunday morning), and a couple more for a part of it ^^

Me and my friends have a drinking game centered around the touhou series that's usually a huge hit at LANs. Here's how it works:
Everyone starts playing at the same time. Begin on Easy, work your way through the difficulties sequentially (easy -> normal -> hard -> lunatic). 1. You die, you drink. 2. You have to continue, you either finish your drink or start the difficulty over. 3. When someone finishes a difficulty, the rest of the people must finish a full drink and begin with them at the next difficulty. 4. At any point someone can waste a bomb (outside of a boss) and force another person of their choosing to drink at EXACTLY that time. The person drinking is not allowed to pause while doing so. We call this using a spell card.
Do not attempt to operate heavy machinery after playing this game. Have fun!
