OK im going to edit this completely because i came off the wrong way at first.
I really appreciate all the hard work and time people put into organising competitions.
I really love to watch vods of the fantastic games from compeitions, but often find that they are difficult to locate. Sadly, after looking for only a small ammount of time, I often give up and don't see the matches.
I'm suggesting that it might be beneficial to locate links for tournament vods in more logical and easy to find places. Possibly in bright flashing font, for 'retards' like myself.
I often go to the "SC2 Tourneys" forum, locate the relevant thread, and then look for the vods, or a link to a website which may have the vods. Often, the vods show up later in a completely different thread possibly in the news forum.
I think TL community run events are the most easy for me to find and watch. Often evens run by outside organisations are a pain to find vods for as far as im concerned.

Thanks for your constructive criticism, but the problem isn't with the sites, it's with you.
If you weren't retarded you'd realize every game is on TL.net.

How is this constructive criticism if you don't say anything specific? WHAT vods are you looking for? I found MSL Finals VODs in roughly 3 seconds this morning. WHY must you use this site? No one's keeping your from going somewhere else. I don't like to pull out the "it's a free service" card, but in your case you seriously need to get rid of your sense of entitlement.

I find tl can sometimes be overwhelming for finding stuff like vods, results, etc, especially if you are new don't know what sections are available or how things are generally organized.
|
thanks rekrul.
I realise all the games are here on TL.net, thats why i posted here. I'm just stating my opinion, which is that they are sometimes difficult to locate within the site.
For all we know, there could be a load of other people with the same problem as myself, who do not even have accounts registered on TL. People reading the blog posts are likely to be very familiar with the TL layout, hence i would expect a bias in replies to this thread.
Despite this, i hope that people might be open to the idea that for people who are not hardcore TL'ers might have difficulty in locating vods.
I'm sure most of us want to see the esports scene grow as fast as possible, and to me it seems that something as simple as ensuring that links are in logical and easy to find places could possibly make a big difference to the ammount of viewers.

....Its not that hard.... to find VOD's really.
The new Teamliquid is much easier to find VOD's
Edit: i highly doubt you really tried hard to look for VOD.

this thread requires me to search through 7 pages to find what i want. no thanks. Id rather just fire up sc2 and play some 1v1's.
might sound lazy, but people are lazy.

How about you open this thread, click on 'all' to show all 7 pages at once, and then use the find function of your browser.

see what your saying? you used the word 'find'
find is a word you use when things go missing, or are a mess, or are somewhere you dont know about.

Honestly i think it's too easy to find the vod's, a little less user friendly could be a good noob repellent.

really though, which vods are hard for you to find? i usually find them pretty quickly.

It's extremely easy to navigate this site and find everything. Just need to get used to looking in the right places.

Considering the entire SC2 scene has just started, you really should give it more time for organization. There's been maybe a couple major SC2 tournaments so far, yes, everything isn't going to be organized and easy for you to access. You know those BW VODs? They're so easy to find because there's always proleague, and always the two starleagues (though maybe not anymore, aha), and they've been going on for years.
Having to poke around in the relevant thread isn't really all that bad.

lold so hard at the title..

Then go do that and fuck off...
they are right there for people who aren't so lazy its amazing they manage to feed themselves.
