Ok so up until a few days ago i wasn't such a huge fan of spending big bucks on hardware like mouse, keyboard, PSU etc.Up until now i've spent a maximum of 10 dollars on a PSU and about 15 bucks on both keyboard and mouse altogether.
Recently my 10$ PSU died after two hours of service handling a Core 2 Quad processor,4 gigs of ram and a 8600gt (yes i was stupid enough to buy this for gaming). So I needed to buy a new one and for some weird reason i decided to buy a nice PSU for the first time in my life. But unfortunately i didn't have enough money to buy a good one.So i decided to wait for a few days. After two weeks i managed to save up 100 bucks and decided to buy a PSU with it.I bought a Thermaltake modular PSU for ~98 dollars. I have to say i'm very impressed with it. i've never spent so much money on a psu before and it's working much better than the previous one.
Now I've started to save up again and currently have about 125 bucks. I decided to save up buy a GTX 460 with the money i'll probably save up.But then i thought i should wait until the ATI Southern Island gpus come out.then i also realized that the Intel Sandy Bridge cpus are coming out later this year. But then i also realized that the AMD Fusion apus are coming out early next year.so i thought should i wait until then because that apu thing might be interesting and worth waiting for.then i started to have a big headache and decide to abort the whole plan.now i've decided that i'm just gonna buy a new system when this one becomes unable to run any more games at all.so it may take a few years still.
so with a few years left and with some money at my disposal, i've now decided to finally spend big and buy a good gaming mouse and keyboard.but since i've never spent more than 10 bucks on keyboard and mouse altogether, i have little idea what i should get.
So i really need advice from you guys.i have about 125 bucks now.which keyboard and mouse should i get with this money? should i go with Microsoft, Logitech or Razer or what?which one to buy?or should i save up some more and buy a more decent one?
what do you guys think? please help this noob out people.

Go with Logitech or Razer. I've used the same logitech G5 for more than 4 years now and I like it. I never tried Razer but I heard it's good.
As for keyboard, it doesn't really matter. Don't waste your money on a g15 or some crazy macro keyboard. Basically your decision should be betweeen a membrane keyboard or a mechanical keyboard, but since you're getting both mouse and keyboard I think just get the Samsung DT35, it's like 30 bucks on starcraftmecca. But yeah, mouse >>>> keyboard in terms of SC2 importance.

It's hard to imagine how an expensive PSU would be better than a cheap one except for the fact that it won't die and bring your hardware with it. If you're not having crashes anymore, I guess it makes sense =P
Get a regular keyboard and a Logitech G500. Gaming keyboards are useless, though I have one. If you really want one I guess the G15 or G11 from logitech. I currently own a G15 and it serves me well. I also have a Razer mouse but it has the "z-axis bug" which you can google it if you want. This is my 4th Razer mouse. 2 died, one sucked (it was called "Habu" and Microsoft put their name on it, so that might be why it sucked).

ok i think i'll go with logitech then.thnx a lot.

Expanding on the Razer issue.
It's built for gaming. I think they are 100% capable of being upper-tier gaming equipment. I have a Deathadder and a Lyacosa (woo old birthday gifts) and I haven't had any issues with them yet. Except my down arrow fell off on my keyboard. Rofl.
Back on track, Razer makes awesome gaming equipment...but I don't think the actual PHYSICAL build is up to snuff that the actual hardware is. If that makes any sense. They need to focus on making their equipment be more DURABLE so that the physical mouse/keyboard can keep up with the abuse we "hardcore" gamers put on our gear.
If that makes any sense. "The [insert razer product here] is awesome and built well but it needs to be built better in order to make it Olympic level" is kind of my point here.
Can't go wrong with Logitech! ^^

With $129.99 you can buy a Razer Mamba - easily the best mouse I've ever used for both feel (grip, weight) and accuracy. It features dual functionality wired/wireless operation which comes in handy at times. Mostly I used it wired for gaming and wirelessly for everything else.

Ok so you guys think that i should just spend the bulk of my money to get a good mouse and spend the rest to get a generic keyboard.is that it?

If you're not having crashes anymore, I guess it makes sense =P + Show Spoiler [Ways expensive PSUs are/can be better] +- Can supply more power (maximum)
- Less heat (improves life of other computer components too)
- Less fan noise
- More reliable voltages closer to intended values
- Easier to install (longer cables, modular cables)
- More power connectors
- Longer time before failure
- Less likely to damage other components when dying
- Continues to operate normally in very brief power surges and brownouts, and other anomalies
- Keeps the computer on in the start of a blackout when a UPS is switching to battery power
Granted, computers are mostly digital systems, and the point of digital systems is that the underlying analog voltages and currents don't need to be perfect. However, it should be noted that many mid-end PSUs don't even pass all the ATX specifications, much less $10 exploding stuff.

Logitech G5 is awesome. Very comfy and functional, for a great cost. G7 feels too clunky for me.
RAzor also has good gaming mice but they're expensive.

Gaming mice/keyboards are bullshit. Get your old mouse that you like, get a random keyboard, and get a good PSU.
You should spend the bulk of your money getting better hardware for your computer.

You need to spend that money quick before a girl sees it.

ok now i'm just confused which one to get.now i'm thinking i'll just stick with my old mouse and keyboard and just get a gtx 460.though i fear my cpu is gonna bottleneck it.
