I am using the volume mixer panel and setting it so that Skype is a little bit louder than SC2. But for some reason Windows ocassionally decides to adjust SC2's volume to even lower. It is even nice enough to leave that translucent arrow showing me where I actually set it.

I couldn't find the option to turn this off if anyone knows that would be great.

R-click on your icon in the quickback; go to Playback devices; then go on the Communications tab. Put it on "Do Nothing."
