Hey guys, a while ago, I wrote a blog about my 10 year old brother starting iCCup and learning how to DT rush and the like. Recently, my brother and I love to watch Day[9]'s cast when it is on. About a month ago, my brother came up to me with a handwritten letter and told me to "mail it to Day9"..

this absolutely touched my heart and I immediately sent it to Day who responded back very positively!
I noticed the note in my brothers room today hung up on a peg board, I re-read it, and thought it may have been something TL would like to see to show that Day9 and other casters really are making a difference in expanding esports to nearly every age group!
On another note, my brothers birthday is coming up.. and I think he would really enjoy SC2  Thanks for reading TL~~
Just for the added awww factor, I put up a short vid of my brother earlier talking about some UMS map.. I was surprised he knew about glitching probes through pylons

This was about 3 months ago looking back on my PM.. as soon as I got the PM from Day I immediately got my brother and he had the biggest banana grin on his face :D It really made his day.. more like his week!

haha in all fairness he was really new to the game! what else can you do at that level!
anyway.. I think all he does now is play UMS or watch me play starcraft 2. (for some reason he doesnt want to play and "mess up my record" ..[yeah I'm worried about my rank at the low diamonds X.X]) he doesn't like playing 1v1s anymore because you "have to be good".

Aha a very touching blog no doubt.
I have a 10(?) year old mongolian family friend who, sad to say, hates starcraft to guts. It was never really like that, he loved starcraft, played the missions over and over and even took every single loss on battle. His record was something like 0-135 it was pretty cute.
One thing he lacked was a witty, funny and etertaining starcraft role model ( he didn't really like the pros, too serious and can't understand Korea) and this was about a year or two before Day9 got huge with commentation and his famous casting of Combat-EX and Chill.
But anyways I just wished that he started playing when Day9 was around so that he could be as excited and love starcraft as your little brother.
Anyways, enough about me and back to your blog.
It was very touching and made me feel alive again in this terribly hot weather

I know I'm going to come of as an asshole but isn't that letter a little too childish for a 10 year old? I mean that looks something from a 4-5 year old. Also how come he doesn't know how to send a mail at 10?

thanks guys, just for an extra cute factor, I added a half a minute video I got of the tail end of my brother talking about some UMS he was playing earlier.. I find it funny the way he says pylon
