I been dreading posting this blog, but I feel like have should at very least give you guys a final update.
Here is a small gist of what happened previously, if you want in greater detail check my previous blog post. I had started a internship, flirted with other intern, then went on a date.
After the first date, we went on a couple of more dates, and while they all generally went okay, it always felt a little unsatisfying. The problem was that each date we had never progressed past the flirting stage. During our last date, I had tried holding her hand but I can see that she was visibility uncomfortable. That pretty much told me that this was not working out. So after much contemplating, I just bluntly asked her if she was still interested and she said she just wasn't feeling it so I called it quits. It wasn't a messy break-up or anything we just came to realized that it just wasn't working. While I am disappointed, I am glad she was honest about it, because I wouldn't want to waste anymore time on something that wasn't going anywhere.
While my feelings are hurt that this relationship didn't work out, I do not regret asking her out in the first place. I can only imagine how I would have felt seeing her leave for the last time and wondering “what if”
And as for office relationships, I can honestly say it can be very viable way to meet someone. While you always carry the risk of it going sour and it can be hard for you to work with each other, but I wouldn't let that discourage you trying. Some of them would never go to a club or bar and as such might have different personalities and values from people that do.
This summer has been life-changing for me, I have gone from a shy-nerd that never had a date before, to successfully asked out several girls and getting a couple dates. Each time I failed I learn a little more and I progress a little further. This last one was the closest I have ever been, so I can't wait for the next one.
P.S: sorry I tried not disappoint you guys =(

That's unfortunate. Hope it won't cause problems later.

Nah man, you did great. You had the courage to ask her out, and the courage to take her hand. It takes a lot of guts to do something like that, especially if it feels like things aren't really working. Good for you man, you did TL proud :D

I don't think it will, the internship is ending in two weeks, so I am probably not to see here again. And we still talk to each other as if we are friend or what not.

you have much to learn, Jim Halpert

I think the problem was that I switched to date Micheal. =p

Sorry to hear man but on the bright side, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, you'll have more experience for the next girl who might just be the one.
My last summer was kinda like that, I went from a total naive nerd to somewhat of a grown man, tho still lacking. ^^

yaaay another progressive step for the nerds!!

you should go into work, strut over to your girlfriend, and just makeout with her right then and there, then walk into your bosses office and say "I quit." then walk out, turn to look at your girl and say "ill pick you up at 7" then leave like you dont give a fuck

Or instead, you could go to work, swear at your boss, activate the escape slide, grab a bear and get out.
Heard it works wonders.

You were waiting outside her house, called her cell but no answer. You walked up her door and knocked. An old couple asked who you were and what you wanted. You explained the crush you had on their daughter, and saying how you were supposed to pick her up at 7. The old couple gave you an odd look "But we got no daughter? What the hell were you saying?". Then they slammed the door in front of your face. You stood there feeling awkward.
The next day you arrived at the office waiting for her. She never came. You called her cell again but no one answered. You started asking around your colleagues but everyone was like "Jane (just a random name) who? There is no Jane working in this office". You told them that it was the girl that you made out with right before you quit. But one guy said "You were there all alone, acting weird". You were completely lost. You rushed to the HR department to check up the file, and indeed no one had that name.
"What the fuck is going on?"
At that very moment, you got a text.
"Looking for me?"
You called back, but the number did not exist.
Another text.
"I'm standing right next to you".
But no one was there. Just a dark empty room with files all over the place.
"No this isn't happening", trying to calm yourself as you walked to your car.
She was right there, on the passenger seat.
"You broke your promise, I was waiting for you all night. It was supposed to be our date remember?"
And she cried.
There was no tears, but instead drops of blood falling down to her white dress.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM"
Sweating yourself in your pajama, you knew it was just a nightmare.
"What's wrong son?"
"Nothing mom, just a bad dream"
"It's not"
And standing in front of you was no longer your mom, it was that girl, in the very same white dress, laughing.
*insert evil laugh*
+ Show Spoiler +sorry i'm kinda bored at work also i'm sorry that it didn't work out between you and her but hey at least you grow from such experience glhf <3

Seriously, even after the first post in this blog you've made it several orders of magnitude past what the usual girl bloggers do. Usually it's a "oh I'm soo nervous blog" followed by inaction.
FANTASTIC!!

Dude, you went ahead and asked a girl you found attractive out. That's more ballsy than millions of guys out there.
This is just the first step. Keep it up.

I'm glad you've done these things!!! Props!
