This had to be my most intense mirror (zerg - i promise you, it's not another boring zvz) match up so far and probably most fun as well. If you read my previous blog post, you would know that I fear playing 1v1. My adrenaline kept going up, and the game was about 30mins. It's like it was a never ending match. As time went by, I became more and more nervous, I kept making mistakes here and there, but made also very crucial moves that turned the tide the other way. My opponent left right away after a gg. Even at one point, I thought I had already lost...I was going to hit F10+N, but i'm glad I didn't.
After the game, my hands would not stop shaking. I couldn't type at all. I wanted to chat with him to thank him for keeping me on the edge of my chair, but I had to take a 10mins break to calm down. Got back to him, and he pretty much thought the same thing.
Anyway, I didn't want to provide any spoiler.
Not sure if this will be of any help, but I'm top gold. (Just so that you don't expect a silver/bronze game). Nonetheless, I think you will find this game quite interesting.
However, I still wanna get better. Any tips are very welcomed

Very cool replay! I'm jealous. 3/4 of zergs I play 6pool me(lol gg buddy). Games finish so fast. Most of the time the other player doesn't even tech banelings when I play .
ZvZ has potential to be such an exciting match up <3
Edit: Are you blue or red? I was all impressed with blues 350 apm spikes during the lingling micro, then I realized he had 6 larva, 200 minerals and was just spamming unit commands.

This is what Starcraft is all about, intense heart pounding fun~ keep playing

About to watch now but I wanna say a few things first.
1) Aren't ZvZ's that dont end in like 7 minutes so kickass? I would even extend that to any ZvZ that doesn't just end in ling/baneling wars. I open roaches in that MU which gets me into elimination races pretty often (lings run into my base the second I leave my ramp) and it's actually really fun shit.
2) Congrats on learning the value of "Never give up, never surrender." I've have almost left so many games that I went onto win eventually that it feels to weird to even think about how premature I used to gg.
Gonna watch now.

ZvZ is on the brink of a revolution!!!!!!!!

Won numerous games that i was a split second away from gging.
Gonna watch now. Also this.

Alright, I'm about half way here. Not sure which player you are but maybe you could provide some insight on this if you were blue or help me figure out what this guy was doing if you weren't blue. Spoilers ahead.
+ Show Spoiler +At about 12 minutes in, blue just pulls all his drones away into a nice little corner of his base and I can't for the life of me figure out why. About 30 seconds after he did this, 2 banelings strolled into his base but that can't be it. Maybe he was trying to hide that he remade drones after losing all of them? Maybe it was some really weird mistake? No idea, any help in solving this mystery would be appreciated.

Bibbit: that's exactly why i pulled the drones there. When I saw the speedlings waiting at natural and not going up, I knew he was making blings. So I pulled them there to have him think that I didnt have any drone, you could tell he could confused for a few seconds but then he knew where they were.

I gave a few hints in my OP that i was the winner. Yes, I was really nervous and at that point I didnt notice that I had that much larva and minerals in stock yaaa...i tend to right click a lot.

Quite the intense game. Was also good for a pretty solid laugh at around the 17-18 minute mark when red got into blue's base. I really think red was in a great position but he started doing what was literally the opposite of micro which allowed all his shit to be dead. Found it pretty funny.
And since I now know the OP was blue, you mind if I ask what your goal was with the fairly early lair tech? You got lair and did literally nothing with it for a very long time (eventually getting roach speed). I imagine you just got messed up because of the whole "losing literally all of your drones" thing.

Oh right. Yea, I figured he wanted to finish me off with blings, so I was gonna hide my mutas and defend with roaches, but his "all-in" pretty much threw me off.
