I recently made a blog on a similar topic: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=137048
You go to sleep at 6 am, nowhere as bad as going to bed at 2pm'ish, so yours will be easier to fix.
The two obvious options you have are 1. skip sleep and stay awake til night time 2. sleep twice 3. sleep early
I chose option 1 and went to bed at a fairly early time (11 pm) and am fine now. I've tried both numerous times and the problem with option 2 is that the 2nd sleep. Option 3 wasn't available to me but it's probably your healthiest one. Go on a heavy work out at night, take a nice shower, relax and start reading in your bed. Works like a charm for me when I just need to adjust my bedtime by a few hours.

take a melatonin. great supplement and it will fix your sleeping schedule fo shizzie.
|
stop using your computer at late hours. run 6 miles in the afternoon and then shower, eat light and then go to your bed no distractions no tv no cpu no nothing.. just you concentrating on sleeping
|
all nighter. <3 then sleep at 9 the next day

From personal experience if you try to sleep earlier and wake up earlier by just moving your hours back from your regular sleep time you'll lie in bed and won't be able to sleep. Whats worse is you might start thinking about random stuff which keeps you up even more or you'll be constantly thinking why can't i sleep (duh you're not tired) and get mad irritated which will prevent you from sleeping more. Concentrating on sleeping won't help. Makes it worse.

hmm you could try to go to sleep 1.5 hours earlier each night until you can make it to thursday at 7 with 5.5 hrs of sleep the other way is to pull an all nighter, but sometimes this can be risky cuz u might fall asleep before night time and end up waking up at midnight lol just make sure you don't fall asleep too early cuz it will be a disaster if u do.

Well... you sleep at 6am... so if you stay awake another 16 hours...
Remember the bed is only for sex and sleeping, nothing else.
|
how hard could this be to figure out? ofc just stay up a full day until you crash at the right time and you will be back on schedule!
|
Go buy an Economics textbook. Open it about the time you want to fall asleep.
|
Step 1: 1-2 hours before bed turn off most lights and don't do any intense mental or physical activity. Light reading is good for this time.
Step 2: 1 hour before bed take 3mg of Melatonin (natural chemical that makes you sleepy...available at every drugstore or grocery store ever. it's like $5 for 300 tablets).
Step 3: Get up in a reasonable time frame. If you awoke naturally: guess what, you're done sleeping. Don't lounge around for 2 more hours in bed.
Move this schedule 1.5/2 hours sooner each night and you'll be fine. Basically what this does is resets your circadian rhythm or w/e. Works for me.

well the fastest way is to just stay up until evening then crash and wake up in the morning. repeat that one more time, and you'll be good to go
speaking of sleep schedules, mine has become quite unique lately.. i've always had a no-nap policy, but have been convinced into taking a nap in the afternoon once. anyway this kind of snowballed so my current sleep pattern is pretty retarded. i basically go to sleep around 5am, wake up around 8 (for class), then crash at ~3pm (after lunch) and wake up around 6-8pm (in time for dinner) basically i had a little bi-phasic sleep thing going here. it was interesting, but i decided to fix it cause i was losing track of time.. so i just skipped my afternoon sleep session and went to sleep at midnight. still tempted to go back to it though, haha

Pull out a highly technical textbook and start reading it. Always gets me to sleep fast
