Ok...... Let me try this from another angle.

Under my current employ I encode movies for divx. As a result I know the outline plot of the majority of films that have been released this year.

Tell me what sort of movie you are looking for and I will try to drop a solid recommendation for you.

(Hint: If you ask for the best movie this year, I will recommend Inception)

Are you looking for something beyond the obvious? Sherlock Holmes There was also a recent re-release of an old classic. I will need to find the title.

Cop Out wasn't a 10/10, but it was definitely mindless. It had nice off beat dialog and a winding shift sort of plot a lot like Pirates of the Caribbean or any other Jerry Bruckheimer flick. (Note that its a Kevin Smith film that mostly fell to the wayside)

Throwing out a super niche: An old school film that no one knows was remade. ManHunter (directed by Michael Mann) is often times directly plagiarized by Silence of the Lambs

If you can find the British version of The Cave go with that. The US version is no where near as satisfying.

I could really use some good mindfuck movies to be honest! Something or any movie similar to Shutter Island, The Machinist. Anything besides Fightclub, it's great and all but I believe it's highly overrated.

i really like stuff about organized crime and italian mobsters. are there any good movies about this? i never watch movies so i dont know anything. something with like a mob family and what goes on in that lifestyle would be nice.
