Convince me to do something I haven't done before. Anything.
Basically, I have a few weeks with little to no obligations and plenty of free time. While SC2 will undoubtedly take up some of that time I leave myself open to any suggestion you all can come up with.
Give me a convincing argument to try anything. A hobby, watch a particular movie, play a particular game, do a particular dance... whatever. It can be something you've always wanted to do but never did or something you do often and enjoy it. I'm just looking for something that will tickle my fancy. I'll read through them all and post results of the ones I decide to try. Pretty much anything (within reason) is fair game, so don't hold back.
Watch the 1st season of the wire, Play tennis-soccer (don't know what you guys call this),Ask out your crush.
why?
The Wire is the best tv show I have ever watched, soccer is sweet, but tennis soccer is even better, and if there is some girl you have been thinking about, man up and ask her out because you will regret it if you don't
well.. programming is one thing, but it takes some time to get good at that. Plenty of pointers around for this on the internet.
Acrobatic or physical feats could be a rewarding investment. Backflipping, unicycling, walljumping.. perhaps a cartwheel to start with.
You could see about volunteering, look for a project that suits you. Largely dependent on what you can find, if it is something you are willing to work for.
They don't make stuff like they used to, and using old stuff feels great. Everything is solidly built and feels 'right' to use. And your photos will look great too. It's far more interesting and engaging than snapping away with a DSLR, and people are interested in what you're doing when you use old stuff
