I don't know why sometimes posters feel compelled to mislead or conjure up stories, be it short-term like XerO or long-term like Zia. Maybe those are the people who have truly become addicted to the site.

Xiao, don't worry or be sad about Xero's story. What happened has happened and now we gotta put the past behind us. Basically, Xero have decided to choose this type of lifestyle and he had it coming in some sense which he took the risk to push forward that ultimately led to destruction. So RIP Xero on TL.

Also, you're right, it doesn't matter if someone has 200 post or if another has 4k post. What matters is the quality, personality, and character of the poster. Someone may have only like 100 post and he will be quite famous among TLers (ie. MDT) or another may have like 100k post and be semi-famous (ie. konadora... though he is famous b/c he has that many posts...). Regardless, I could potentially catch up to konadora and have 100k post too but I value my post quality and the type of character I want to display which is why I have so little despite sticking around TL for the same amount of time as kona-kun was. All in all, choose your own life and path in TL and live the best and fullest you can! ^_^

Don't worry about what happened to Xero, because chill gave him a prior warning that he would get banned if it was fake, but he continued onward, so that is why he got banned. As for other people that get banned, I usually feel a little sorry for those w/ high post counts, but then i try to remind myself that its not the post count that matters, it's the character and quality of their posts =P

Even if he got banned I still enjoyed the fictional story he made for us. He ended up getting himself into a hole he couldn't get out of and that was that. Really though I think there are only a handful of people that I would care about getting banned on this forum and that's just because I've known them for a long while.

I couldn't figure it, read the thread summary but that info was not included, how did people find out it was fake? I assume there are some proofs of story being fake?

The big one was that Chill checked the ip of his post made when he was on the girl's `laptop` to his consecutive ones; they were all the same. Xero also posted a picture of `him and the girl` as well as one from his facebook. They didn't really look that similar >_> Not to mention he describe Minji as being a foot shorter than him but the picture showed her as being almost as tall as he was.
