Hello TL! I was wondering what online communities TL members are involved in other than TL.net. It can include hobby related communities like gaming, photography, cooking or just about anything. I'm just curious to what variety of hobbies TL members enjoy since I'm in desperate need of something to do now that I have much more free time because of summer!
So share some of the sites you're engaged in! This should be fun.

I check craigslist and kijiji everyday , and by virtue of being musical, have had some pretty strange/ productive / waste of time encounters.
Also, a useful time waster

forum.unity3d.com is like teamliquid for game designers

Reddit because Digg absolutely sucks now. I also spend a lot of time on college football forums.

I'm a member of a Buddhist forum as well. Just because Buddhism has some really interesting aspects that make you think.

Dono why you'd bother to hide the name now, or mention it at all for that matter. Site is dead. The people that made the community what it is have gone to greener pastures. Or grown up, one of the two.

I remember visiting that site a lot around 10th/11th grade, when a new student in my school showed me the website and how awesome it was for anime fans. It really sparked a much larger interest in anime than I ever had, but I never felt like I could make a good post on there, so I eventually stopped visiting, and now I have no idea what anime to watch. I think you've made me want to revisit that place!
I was a member of a small forum called moviecodec.com for awhile, but the interesting people and extremely lax nature of the site's lounge forum (yeah, I didn't go for codec help and information) eventually left, and now it's just a bunch of people who formed a small clique and are trying to block everyone out.
And I'm a somewhat regular commenter on Joystiq since about the unveiling of "Revolution," before it was called Wii. That year I had business computing in high school, and since it was super easy, I had a lot of free time and I wanted to read up on my gaming.

I did it 2 months ago and do not regret it at all.

earthempires.com, which was a swirve game (earth2025). It's a pretty old browser game, way back 1996-1998 i guess
