Specifically, it runs Starcraft II at lower framerates, on lowest settings, when there are many unit on screen or on the map. It CAN run decently (~30-40 fps) on the reccomended ultra settings, but only when there aren't that many units in the game (goes below 30 if say 50 units are on screen). Switching between ultra and lowest doesn't ever seem to make that huge a difference in fps - so I suspect it's not really the gpu's problem.
I went ahead and got heatsinks for the northbridge (86 deg) and gpu (80-85 deg), so we'll see what that does when they arrive. can't hurt, anyway. We'll also have to see what blizzard tech support ends up saying as well.
