I've been producing hip-hop, trance and drum n bass for about 4 years using FL studio and Logic for mac. So 1 week ago I was feeling melancolic and decided to take a listen to some of my older tracks. I don't know if there are many producers here on Teamliquid but I'm sure there are some. Do you know when it has been 2 years since you last heard one of your songs and you don't remember it AT ALL? It's such an awesome feeling, re-discovering your own work and having a fresh listening! In the middle of many shitty trance stuff (mostly 1 minute loops) I made in 2008 I liked this one the most:

Listening to it again after so much time gave me chills!
About the track:
I used FL Studio for this one and my original idea was to throw an electro bassline into a heavy 143 bpm four on the floor snappy trance beat.
Anyways I felt like sharing this little story and song Tell me what you think!

It is always a pretty cool experience finding an old creation of your own after many years, whether music or otherwise. You definitely have a knack for production; this sounds way better than anything I could do. Perhaps tone down the hihats a bit, or vary them somewhat. I feel psytrance benefits from more varied or otherworldly sounds as opposed to a constant tss-tss-tss. Just a thought, as I said before, I'm in no position to be a critic on this. I'll definitely keep it and put it in my trance rotation, really good stuff.
Wish you had put it up as a downloadable mp3. Since you didn't, I did, so others with Flash problems can have a listen. I'll take it down if you want, though I'd assume you have no problem with the free distribution of your music.

Wouldn't be a psytrance connoisseur by any means, but for what its worth, I really liked it

Thank you for the positive feedback people!
@RoTaNiMoD:
You are absolutely right about the hi-hats. Psytrance is suposed to create that "riding the snake" feeling and static / repetitive percussion doesn't help too much. Unfortunately I don't have this project anymore so I can't edit it. Oh and thanks for noticing the disabled download, I edited the first post with it.
