Holy shit
I'm in Alaska on vacation (hence why this blog is shot)
And it's like fucking midnight here
AND THE SUN IS STILL LIKE UP!!!
Not like I can see the sun, but more just it's not dark at all.
Like not at all
Like when it's around 8:30-9:00 in a normal state (Canada doesn't fucking count), it's like that at fucking midnight here.
How the hell am I supposed to sleep?

Aren't there places where it is light for like 6th months straight..or I may be confusing it with dark.
But anyways, close blinds, maybe cover windows with something that will block the sunlight (like foil) and enjoy the darkness .

Like six months of day, then six months of night. Might help to explain the Bible if G-d was at one of the poles.

Why would you go to vacation in Alaska? Isnt this place like super cold?

Works on planes, and works when your being transported by NK officials.
Best of luck to your messed up circadian rhythms @ Alaska! LOL

are there teenage girls in alaska?
|
It is not a joke..human body need darkness to rest well..so i suppose that living for a real long time in a place where the "sunrise" is not on a 24 hour cycle can be quite confusing...

we have summer one month a year.
Anyway our very unusual sunlight patterns really do screw with visitors. After living here for a while you get very used to it though.

Temperatures in Interior Alaska usually get higher than in Anchorage or other coastal areas. Fairbanks' average high is 70 degrees in June, 72 degrees in July and 66 degrees in August.

Get some melatonine if you can. That should help you!

Has there been research since I last checked into this that says something contrary to: it is a complete misconception that melatonin helps with sleep.
BTW... much better off making the room dark somehow than using drugs :p

Maybe it got too cold in Alaska, so they made another sun.
DOUBLE SUN POWER

If you can paint your room dark. I was all emo in high school and painted mine super dark blue, almost black. I've never slept so well in another room.
