im trying to get my char geared for pvp, and the easiest way to do that is ofc through jsp. jesus fucking christ, the kids on jsp never fucking change! everyone is exactly the same as they were when i last played.... little immature kids who spend the entire day talking trash/posting 1 up screenies of some 4v1 kill with hacks/gmod/tmc /making fun of IRL pics of other peeps when theyre to scared to post theirs..... holy fuck! makes me appreciate the TL community sooooooo much more  | ||

D2jsp is full of immature teens who are willing to go to such lengths to scam people for 10 fg. There are good people there aswell as honest traders so don't give up and be careful with who you trade with. Also, there are worse communities out there like the forums of the warcraft 2 private server. They are complete assholes there, go check it out if you are in a bad mood and laugh at their stupidity  Tell me your D2jsp account and i can give you a little fg  | ||

i suggest going to diii.net, people there are TL-caliber or better. but it's a lot harder to get geared up because they don't support dupes. | ||

Ex. I sell a diablo 2 item for 50fg to another user. I give him the item and he sends me 50 fg. I can then spend this fg on items or services in Wow/d2/whatever. | ||

i also remember running a mmbot doing pindle, shenk, and eld. i set it so when it picks up rare/unique ammys and rings it wouldn't id them and just keep them in the stash. then i'd fill a mule with completely unid stuff and sell them for like 50-80 fg, depending on the # of uniques etc. and of course nothing ever turned out to be that great because they have such shitty ilvls from those monsters. | ||

D2 is not a skill game...it is a knowledge game, If you want to play SP and never even see half the items in the game (unless you are batshit insane), cool, Standard is fun for a while. However, if you really want to know in depth what items are best for what character, how socketing is calculated, breakpoints, what order damage is calculated in, and other depths of arcane game knowledge, you're gonna want to get into the hardcore (mostly botting) community. The economy and trading aspects of the game are the actual parts with depth and replay value. EDIT: i'm still lolling at the thought of a "skilled D2 player" | ||

How does it not? The vast majority of stuff becomes essentially worthless when everything is so common, therefore reducing economic depth significantly. For the rares I guess you can play the game of who can bot the most, but seriously... And duping still exists, however unpopular you'd call it. Those who can exploit it are quite a few steps ahead of even the botters. Incidentally, you recently got into D2 again saying botting ftw, but have been playing entirely legit for years? No need to explain, I'm not going to care if you play (or played) legit or not. Since battle.net is clearly a playground for bots at the moment, there's not much a few new ones would mess up >_> | ||
