Problem Downloading Patch

So I have a week between the end of the semester and when my adviser wants to go hardcore into the research we are conducting this semester. So I installed the game, but now that im dling the patch it just seems like it just starts over when its done. When it gets to like 65ish% downloaded it will say "your computer appears to be behind a firewall" for a bit but then it will go back to the normal no problems detected and continue dling through it all.

Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? My firewall is off. Or am I just being dumb and the bar will fill multiple times before its done?

if you just installed it has to download all 13 or so patches I think

Patch 9 is HUGE (500 MB, I believe). The firewall is a false alarm, or bug. Basically, ignore it, and just wait. It will eventually finish.

EDIT: And yes, for some reason, there isn't a combo patch, so it has to download each patch separately. ~13 times.

The firewall thing is normal. The game says that for pretty much everyone. Just let it keep going. There are a lot of patches. I think the last one is 0.14.xxx? Not entirely sure on that though.

i let down my firewall and shit when i was dling the patch... it did nothing (and probably could have netted me a couple of viruses if i was surfing the web). It'll just keep on chugging if you give it time. For me the "Your computer appears to be behind a firewall" is just blizzard saying "sorry our dl servers sux this is gonna be slow so we'll bs something to freak out our users and make an excuse for ourselves"

I thought that at first but on the patch screen nothing changes, as if its downloading the same patch over and over (12.1). Is that normal for just the newest patch to be displayed?

Edit: Yea ok im an idiot lol, just noticed the patch going up in the top corner after every download. Sigh somehow I knew my computer ignorance and overall impatience was at work.
