if i had a tortoise id try to ride it. yup sure would
you only need to fill your tank 1/4 full and put something in there so that the turtle can climb on it to rest and chill and dry itself and sleep.so it doesnt have to swim 24/7. its gonna drown from constant swimming.

the soft shell turtle is a graceful swimmer. And isnt shy and spends plenty of time basking on his platform. I have to keep it that high to keep the tank filter going because unfortunatly a fish tank, not a turtle.
We call them Morrocoy in Venezuela. They're super common in here. People often own groups of them instead of just single turtles.
They grow slower than a rock and can live a lot. They can grow to be a foot and a half max in size. Keep them in a muddy-sandy area (as is accustomed) and they'll bury. They are literally omnivorous to the best definition of the word; they even eat their own shit. They float in water and can doggy swim. Flip them over and they will stay there; they will jerk their front legs a little but give up, but put a friend closeby and this will make his first priority to push him back to his belly. Males have a concave bottom. They do both 1 and 2 and they suck. They don't ever bite. And they won't hide when they get to know you!
Edit: forgot to add you guys call it red foot toroise in English.
Ive never owned a turtle so I could be wrong, but I really think you need some kind of wood or something floating on the surface so he can get air without constantly having to swin. Hes gonna drown from exhaustion. Its probably got too much water in it too. I also know that reptiles can become melnurished very easly so make sure hes getting everything he needs..
Do your research yo..
Cheers
(cute btw)
EDIT: I see this was brought up already - nevermind

yahhh dont worry i did plenty of research for it.... picture shows a dock. plenty of room and he uses it a good portion of the day.
oh my god... i haven't seen such graphic stuff in a long time... i didn't know snapping turtles could rip off the heads of rats with just their claws... that's disgusting and amazing at the same time.
I realize that the turtle has to eat and whatnot, and that's fine, but filming the decapitation of rats for pleasure and uploading it to youtube is fucking pathetic.
I could not finish the video, however he gets points for the music he used, it did sound pretty epic, still fucking sadistic though.
