Here's the dilemma; OSL finals clashes with 2010's Dream Concert. There is no physical way to do both, because one is at World Cup Stadium in Seoul and the other is at Gimpo Airport in...well Gimpo.
I can access both locations easily via the subway/taxis (Although finding the hangar might be a strange/slightly awkward experience.)
So I'm now stuck with the problem of;

Maybe. Cons: + The location is a bit of a trip (maybe about 2 hours total.) + I will get one of my usual stress headaches. + Less hot Asians. Dream Concert Pros/Cons:+ Going with friends. + I get to see Beast finally plus a tonne of other groups. + Easier access location. + I haven't paid my friend for my ticket ($5) so it's no loss. Cons: + Sitting alone due to friends not being able to find seats for us all together. + Can't photograph it. My seat is way too far back even for my DSLR to handle it and there's no way to sneak to the front because security is way too tight (I know this from going last year and seeing how it seemed to be very well organized.) +++ Help me TL! I'm struggling with this choice.

Plus it's basically become a tradition for me to cover finals as long as they're not in Busan. The only one I've skipped due to personal reasons was Jangbi versus Luxury @ Gom Art Hall.

That's the main sticking point for me. I was alright at last year's Dream Concert since I provided the first fancam of 2pm's first performance without Jaebeom and it got 80k views and made tonnes of people cry (oops.) but this time I am even further away :S

Are hot asians really so hard to find in South Korea?
I think OSL finals sounds more fun than a concert where you can't sit with friends... but if one of your top favorite groups is performing then you should see them while you have the chance.

Free dinner is a HUGE pro, and you get to photograph stuff. At the whatever concert you sit so far back you can't photograph, so besides not being able to do that...you're sitting way far back...and even if they are hot asians (Flash is way hotter though), you're nowhere near them. And if you go to the OSL no need to stress, relax and take some drugs before going.

STFU I like them. Anyway, it's tonnes of people from SNSD, Afterschool to 2pm and uh...other people. I kind of forgot the full list. It's pretty epic, but that airport hangar is beckoning to me...

It all depends on your priorities though. Which option will make you regret more later on?

Since you can't take pics, then definitely the OSL finals.

And if you go to the concert all will be forgiven if you can find some way to get exclusive pics of Yuri. ;p
Edit: Just saw the list. Will you be able to forgive yourself if you go to the OSL and it's a one-sided laugher and you miss that lineup? Go to the concert!

it's your choice, so there's no need in letting other people decide where you should go. :D
i would recommend dream concert, not because i love kpop, but because you can hang out with your friends and stuff. contributing to TL is fine, but your personal life is important as well.

Hahahahahaha. I'm more of a daughter. Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm still debating it since the big lure for me is photographing potentially a massive upset win for whoever it is against Flash or him getting his Golden Mouse. Also I doubt we'll get another finals in an aircraft hangar.

OSL is bound to be rather one-sided, and is easily accessible by videos later. Go to concert if you enjoy it. That poll was quite terrible idea though- it doesn't show why people want you to take such action which people making their recommendation by posting usually does.

Others keep pointing out that not being able to take pics at the dream concert is a dealbreaker but I actually think you'd enjoy the concert more by not being preoccupied with taking pics~ they're really nice afterward but for the full experience I feel like it's better to go just with friends and a fangirl heart~

Funnily enough from experience I'm the absolute opposite. It might be alright if I was sitting with my friends as a distraction. I usually tend to sit there seething impotently about how (most of) the Korean photographers (not fan photographers who often do a lovely job.) who are covering it usually take ugly shots and don't care about what they're photographing.
I looked at the line up and it went like this;
Super Junior - seen/photographed.
SNSD - seen/photographed 3 times.
2PM - seen/photographed/spanked Chansung's arm.
Wonder Girls - seen/photographed/don't care about them.
Rain - Don't care.
Lee Hyori - Seen.
SS501 - Don't care.
KARA - seen/photographed.
After School - Don't care.
SHINee - Seen/photographed.
f(x) - Seen.
BEAST - ARGHHHHHHH, but they're rookies so there's plenty of time.
T-ara - Seen.
MBLAQ - Weirdly apathetic despite their muscles.
4minute - Don't care.
U-Kiss - Met/Seen/Stalked/photographed/given cat toys/touched Alexander.
Rainbow - Don't care.
ZE:A - LOL.
Davichi - Don't care.
F.cuz - Not seen, but again they're rookies.
Thanks to everyone who voted. I'm still debating this one, but we'll see. I'm leaning more towards OSL due to the uniqueness even if Flash is liable to stomp all over it again (Golden mouse time yo!)

I used to, but they bogged off to Japan for too long and also since meeting HJ I'm not keen since he's not half as nice as his little brother. I did like their last single, but I'm just not as fussed as I used to be.

I saw her perform at ASF back in 2007. I've met U-kiss a couple of times, Epik High and Chansung from 2pm. I need to go to more fan signings.

Well since I covered the last Flash versus JD fiasco I've got another reason to go. Hopefully this time we won't be locked in the press room under guard for almost two hours :S I'd like to see any combination of these players at the finals, but that is indeed potentially epic.
