well, simpsons isn't a creative endeavor anymore as much as it is a franchise. it hasn't been a real venue for cutting-edge writing for years now. as a brand this was a great move though. they have blended two commercially successful entities to further perpetuate both as well as create memes for the kids. | ||

Futurama is actually really funny, it just takes a little bit more effort to understand the references that Futurama makes. They tend to be a little bit more obscure but no less funny because of it. | ||

i don't really watch the simps anyway, if its on ill watch but tbh SC2 is taking up like 98% of my time now so i haven't even watched the latest Southpark episodes yet let alone keep track of the simpsons | ||

Plus The Simpsons isn't intrinsically funny, it needed to be well written. You can write Family Guy and Futurama on autopilot and it'll be decent. | ||
