I just wanted to start off saying thank you to TL.net. I have just started playing Starcraft II after a very long hiatus, having played the original Starcraft and Brood War as a kid, years ago. This all started when I built my first rig, a PC finally capable of running modern computer games, and my interest in gaming shifted from consoles, back to my PC roots. Browsing through blogs I discovered that Starcraft II was not only coming out this year (go figure, I had always assumed it was a myth.)As my interest grew about the new Starcraft and all of the news coming from the recent start of the elusive Starcraft II beta, I came across teamliquid.net. I found a community here which was involved unlike any other forum I have participated in, to say the least. When I finally received a key from a friend who's computer couldn't run Starcraft II Beta I was excited to say the least. I promptly hopped online and was crushed almost as fast by the myriad of experienced Starcraft players already deeply involved in the Beta.I had almost no idea how these players were accumulating such large amounts of resources so quickly, and pumping out units almost as fast. Through the strategy section of tl.net and some of the great streams that other members here have spent their time to make,(Day[9] Dailies/Orb knows best) my game is slowly getting better. I have even been able to hop on the #teamliquid IRC channel and find players willing to hop online and help me practice against builds that I am having trouble against and help point me in the right direction. Thanks again to TL.net for helping the noobs out and spreading the love for Starcraft.

P.S. I also have shown my roommate the greatness that is Starcraft. I showed him and two other friends the cast of Liquid Nazgul and TLO on metalopolis, and they were held in rapt attention cheering for each player as they traded bases numerous times!

TL:DR: Thanks for helping me rekindle my love of Starcraft and find some wins along the way.
