So I played a bunch of games as random on the ladder.

1) Broodlords are so good TvZ it is stupid. They give zerg so much momentum just by being there that zerg can freely take the map. Just 3-4 of them make the tanks' siege mode unusable, and without siege the hydra-roach-infestor blob with broodling meatshield feels unreal to deal with. You also can't shoot them down with vikings without really bad losses if the zerg is careful and keeps the lords over the hydra blob.

2) I've got like no idea at all what to do ZvP and TvP. Protoss army is just frustrating to go against with their forcefield spam, they got near maphack mode with their pesky observers, they always have more units midgame thanks to warpgates, and their late-game ground ball of 4-6 colossi is so fucking powerful. Both ZvP and TvP just feel too all-inish. Immortal push comes, then either he dies, gg, or you die, gg.

3) Phoenixes are underrated, such a fun unit I love the PvZ phoenix with sentry support into colossi play, especially if the zerg goes mutas he's so dead

4) Infestors are cool, especially ZvZ :D Fungal growth on banelings or mutas is really good!

Yeah, ZvT is okay, but ZvP I feel like I can't really scout what he's doing until lair. That is ok if the map has an easily defended natural, but it sucks on maps like scrap station or desert oasis.

I beg to differ, i haven't won a zvp in 2 days and that's using different builds..different unit compositions and it used to be my best mu

broodlords definitely are too good, but once you see they are going for it, if they went low econ two hatch (sorta like SC1 2 hatch guardian) get a reactored starport/+another starport asap and make lots of vikings.

and if they played a standard game and you did not harrass or do damage, you lose
but vikings are the counter.
