The events streamed for this tournament appear to be Halo 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Tekken 6.

I had forgotten about this event. For anybody who has never taken some time to watch MLG's Halo streams I strongly recommend it. They're usually entertaining and the commentary is always fairly strong.

I've talked about this with some friends before. I think, realistically, if MLG does go hard into SC2 they'll have to hold separate events for it. The way SC tournaments are run and conducted compared to other games is fairly drastic.

Like, they could probably have online qualifiers and then have the top 8 or something come to tournaments but it'd have to be run considerably different than they're used to. I have faith in MLG though, surprisingly enough.

Dunno why but a blog like this was up but got closed. Mlg has great halo 3 coverage, hopefully it'll be as good in sc2.

Yeah, their Halo 3 coverage is quite good. I don't know about T6, but they said they couldn't get permission from Nintendo to livestream SSBB. They've done quite a good job so far considering how much they've had to grow over the years.

I was wondering about that, thanks for informing.

I find watching SSBB to be about as boring as, well, it's probably the most boring thing there is. SSBM was 10x more exciting but I'm glad to know why they weren't being streamed since I was curious as to why there was no stream and instead only a live updater.

I'm bummed TD lost to Classic, but hopefully they'll come back in the loser's bracket and make it to the championship match to win it all. Only downside to MLG Halo 3 coverage is it always gives me the urge to fire up the 360 and shoot some noobs for a few hours.
