Hi everyone. A couple years ago I was forced to take a personality test for school, and while normally I couldn't give have of a rotting horse carcass about these kinds of things, this test was not only freakishly accurate (for me), but it actually explained a lot about why I am the way I am. Since it benefited me a lot to take it, I figured why not share it my exalted forum fare from Team Liquid.

Note: This test does not require any information, sign up, or any other crap like that. I wouldn't have posted it if it did have anything like that. If for some reason it does ask for any information, then answer it at your own risk. I was not asked for anything of that like at any point.
My Personality type is: INTJ It will explain all about the different types. Keep in mind that the personality type given to you might not always be spot on. For me it was about 90%. For my brother, and ENTP it was only about 60% I think.
Have fun and please tell me your results.

I got INTJ too, but I'm not sure how accurate the answers i gave were. I especially think it was off on the introverted part, because all the questions were along the lines of "do you like being in big groups/crowds?" which is something i hate even though i'm fairly extroverted around my friends.

Actually I am the same way as you. A common misconception to the terms introvert and extrovert is that this means you are either shy around everyone or open to everyone. The technical definition is as follows: Introvert - Characterized as someone who loses energy around large groups of people. By losing energy it means you feel tired, annoyed, uncomfortable, etc. around large groups of people. This doesn't count for people you are familiar with however. Extrovert: Characterized as gaining energy form being around many people and socializing. These people feel the same symptoms, however the symptoms are brought on by being alone or not socializing.
I find that when I'm around people I don't know I tend never to talk to anyone unless I am addressed, however when I'm with a small group of friends I'm the life of the party. It all depends on your comfort zone.
Hopefully that clerifies everything .

I've done this test a few different times. Apparently, I've got split personalities (4 of them to be exact). I swap between I and E, I swap between N and S, and I'm a solid T and P.
However, go read some of the ones that are not of your personality type. You'll be surprised at how much you still think is in common..... They are all pretty broad.....

most people who are gamers are INTJs...

This has been done to death zillions of times. Personality types aren't 100% set in stone, and when you read your results, you become victim of confirmation bias, so it's marginally useful at best.

I stated this in my original post. The test is not an exact science, and often doesn't fit your exact personality, however for some it is very accurate, including me.
I find that really funny that so many people are getting INTJ, as appearantly we occupy less than 1% of the population. It makes a lot of sense though, when you consider the purpose of a forum.
Thanks for posting your results everyone

I believe there was already a thread on this with the exact same test. Can't seem to find it though... does anyone remember it?

Oh, I didn't know that. Let me know if you do find it. I'd feel pretty stupid if it has already been done, but oh well. Thats what I get for not checking.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=112400 Found it =P title was different so it was harder to find. Also I recall that I got INFJ the last time I did it.

Wow, and it was only a month earlier than mine. If it's any concellation, I didn't include a poll .

I remember these tests o so well. My ex was a psychology major at UCDavis and was really into it. Shortly after finding out that our "personality types" weren't compatible we started having issues because everything that came up was because of our, yup you guessed it... non-compatible personality types. LuLz
I find the whole thing ridiculous even though it does seem to have some merit behind it.

I got ENTP and it has some really odd famous people. The cooler ones were Alexander the Great but Chandler from friends? James Cameron?? Celine Dion?!?!?

I know I always get inventor, which is... something. (ENTP?) Actually I've done this exact test like a month ago in that other thread. So this is kind of a fail :/
What would be interesting is seeing how different countries test, since on tests like OCEAN you can see differences in the culture based on the average value of the scores
