Today, I went driving with my dad, because i only have about 2 months till my road test. =0 I haven't driven in a while, so i forgot a lot of things: I was too close to the right, I didn't accelerate fast enough, etc.
So this one guy who was behind me kept blowing his horn at me, annoying both my dad and me. After a while, my dad got fed up so when we stopped at the next red light, he pulled out his planning board badge (which highly resembled a cop's badge) and goes up to the guy behind me. My dad then proceeds to pull out his badge and say: "Did you know that there is a law against blowing you horn in this town? Do you want me to pull you over?!"
Now my dad isn't a cop, but he sure convinced the guy behind me that he was because he was scared shitless and his expression was priceless. That guy kept saying: "Oh no! I'm sorry! please don't pull me over! I didn't know! I was looking at the light and I didn't see."
So after some more of my dad intimidating this guy, and that guy begging not to get a ticket, my dad went back to the car. On his way, two guys in a different car told him: "Hey, you missed your light!" In response to that, my dad flashed his badge at them, and their expression immediately changed.
It's times like this when my dad seems so freaking awesome.
In other news, i got a PS3, but no game. Anyone have any recommendations for good games?

LOL i love the transition from dad being awesome to i got a PS3

Pretending to be a police officer is serious offense. If they read your blog, they will realize what is going on and your dad can be charged.

Illu is lying.
Great blog!

Oh thanks I totally didn't know that was an offense.
Look, he could by lying about the story, he didn't state where lived, and no cop is going to give a shit that some guy showed up some honking asshole unless he was caught impersonating right then and there.
Stop scaring the kid making him believe his dad is going to get arrested or whatever when you know its complete bullshit.

If that person that horned read this blog, he would know.
In case the prosecutors did know about it, it would be a solid case against his father. Not only he confessed to it on internet (and only him, or his dad would know about this), he described how his dad INTENTIONALLY put on a badge that RESSEMBLES a police badge and asked questions that a police offer would ask because he was ANGRY at the horner. I dont think the punishment would be severe even if he got convicted, though.
Also, try googling on this matter. It is a political issue in some states. It's definitely not something that no one gives a damn about.

No, you're lying, he wouldn't know. This happens multiple times around the country a lot, thats why I said (if you read) cops wouldn't give a shit unless they were right there. Did you know cops have to go and worry about real crimes?
" Not only he confessed to it on internet (and only him, or his dad would know about this), he described how his dad INTENTIONALLY put on a badge that RESSEMBLES a police badge and asked questions that a police offer would ask because he was ANGRY at the horner"
Sure thing detective, I'm sure theres a shit ton of evidence in the op to convict his angry jerk law breaking dad! Except... there's not.
"Also, try googling on this matter. It is a political issue in some states. It's definitely not something that no one gives a damn about."
Correct, except you're wrong again.
People give a shit about impersonating cops, no one in the world gives a shit about a bad ass dad that impersonated a cop to help his son focus on driving.
Quit lying.

Sorry, but he's an Indian. And quite frankly (Hersh don't kill me because of this), it will be a LONG time before he gets arrested, if at all. Trust me. Same goes with Koreans, Chinese, etc. etc.
<_<
But in all honesty, all he can get from it is offense, and nothing serious from it either. Was it done to harm someone? Was it used to take advantage (as in, abuse the status of being a police officer to get something off from it? (I'm not including blahman's case because his dad did it to make other people stop from honking and yelling. Quite honestly, I don't think you'll like it if there's someone behind your car honking every single time, just because you're a pre-license driver)) I don't think so. Worst case is a warning in this situation. Nothing else.
So start freaking out guys. Someone's getting a warning >_>

Wait for FF13
