I currently have around a 2.7 GPA (I don't really like doing homework, lol) and I haven't really applied to any colleges. Right now, I see about three options for what I could do after high school. First of all, I could go to college. However, I really don't want to because I'm just so sick of school and everything right now. I really love physics, chemistry, and math but... I really don't want to go to school anymore. On the bright side, if I do go to college I'll have a good amount of credits completed already just from AP tests (assuming they accept them as credit), I've taken five so far and I plan on taking at least three more this year. Another thing I've been thinking about is going to trade school and becoming a mechanic, or something along those lines. I've always loved to take stuff apart, try to fix it, rebuild it, and do things like that. I have tons of tools (it's all my dad buys for me at Christmas/my birthdays, it's pretty sick actually haha) and I love using them. Right now I'm taking apart an old engine and my dad is helping me and showing me what everything is and stuff. On top of that, I dirtbike with my dad and we always mess around with our bikes and shit and fix them up. The last option is the military. I checked out the army's website but I don't feel like I can get very good information there considering all the stuff is talking about how great the army is, but I really don't know anything about it. Any advice anyone could give on any of these subjects or... anything really about what I could do would be great, thanks. i mean, judging by the way you wrote this post it seems like the trade school stuff is what you enjoy/want to do the most right now so why the hell not? just because highschools and society pressure you to go to college doesn't mean its the correct choice for everyone. military? bleh. do what feels right and it will always work out

It doesn't permanently fuck you like getting a four year degree and deciding you hate your job. Or joining the military. Alternatively, there is nothing wrong with working for a year and getting a handle on what you wanna do. I know some mechanics will hire kids who have an interest in things like that. But you really, really shouldn't go to college until you feel you're ready. I blew through $10K+ and a year and a half of time doing that.

Working for a year is good, you have the best motivation to choose a career ever if you don't like it. Also your brain does a lot of developing into your 20's, so you might not be as smart as you will be.
