Hey there!
I've had a few requests to bring back my guide to music, but for a couple of reasons I won't do that at the moment. Instead, I've decided to do a short blog which I will try to post once a day with a few albums that I think are worth a listen. I'll try to cover all the genres that I initially set out to do in my guides to music.
The purpose of the blog is both to generate discussion and to expose people to music they might not have listened to before. So if I mention a group here, give them a try even if they are not in a genre you usually listen to.
1. Black Kids - Partie Traumatic
What? Indie pop/rock
When? 2008
Why? Lots of fun, makes me think of BLOC Party but much more fun and energetic. A bit of an 80s vibe too.

What? Classical
When? 1717-1723
Why? One of the nicest cello pieces ever composed. I'm slightly partial to the Pablo Casals recording.

That's it for today. Give these artists a listen, let me know what you think, and let me know if there's anything you think I'll enjoy (especially new music, I never manage to properly stay up to date with new music).
Disclaimer: The title says that it is Daigomi's guide to good listening. That means its my opinion. Feel free to disagree as long as you provide reasons; I enjoy a good discussion as much as the next person.
