Lol you're not serious right?

This whole blog feels so hilarious, it's like a huge troll.

Would you mind sharing what exactly you mean by 'my relationship with God'? You make it sound like you think of God as a person.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

makes a lot of sense!!!

If lets say your temptation is pornography, you have to do everything in your power to avoid it. That means not looking at certain shows, looking at certain magazines that even show a slight bit of it as it can tempt you, etc.

Everyone has there weakness, some is alcohol, some is adultery, others is gaming. Everything has to be in moderation, if it isn't, then that is bad.

I hear ya man. Good job. I too am a christian and have quit SC multiple times for the same exact reason as you have. I finally am able to be a casual player. Hopefully you will be able to mature in your relationship with God in this. God bless.

RaNgeD, I actually can relate to this. I may not have scripture to cite, but I know exactly what you mean. I often find that all of these things are distracting me, however... I just can't help but to think that that extra time won't be given rightfully. Similar to the concept of Lent: True, you're giving up something that is distracting you, however many people probably simply use that extra time to find something else that distracts them.

I know exactly where you're coming from, and I respect your opinion. God bless, and good luck with your life.

I liked you when we were in Keeper together, but that was awhile ago and I know nothing much about you. You seemed to have gotten a lot better since then and are a good guy. Hope you can find some middle ground in your life for SC.

Apparently, you have not realised that StarCraft IS God.....and he wants you to spend as much time as possible with him.

On a serious note, I cannot say I completely understand your reasoning as I do not see why a favourite pasttime should be an obstacle to your religion (as long as that pasttime does not harm other people/animals). I mean, does playing StarCraft somehow prevent you from having God in your heart?

But if you feel like playing StarCraft keeps you from doing things YOU (emphasis on you) consider to be important, then I suppose I can respect your decision. Good luck and, as the Irish would say, "may God hold you in the palm of his hand".

While I think your choice is very understandable, because there are great things you can do with your time in real life, it strikes me how people keep falling for the religious trap (obviously constructed by man) that tells them how unworthy they are, and how god is going to do this or that to punish them. The sooner you realize that even if there is a god (which there is very, very likely not, and if so, certainly not in the form any man believes in), he wants you to be happy and not some unworthy earthworm. Make such decisions for the right reasons, which allows you to concentrate on what makes you and the people you really care about (and you can actually see) happy.

Yes, faith in God is good, but it takes more than just believing..

Faith without evidence (which is not faith anymore) is very, very bad and the reason for most of the fucked up shit we have to deal in this world.

Faith without evidence wouldn't really be faith now would it? Also, I don't consider myself at all religious, infact I believe that religion is limiting, and a lot of it is tradition now instead of a spiritual experience. I think all of us, if we honestly believe something is true with all of our hearts, then we should continue to search out truth and be willing to change how we believe if we learn differently. Nobody wants to believe a lie, and I am 100% confident in Jesus Faith in Christ is not a religion, its a relationship. And I know lots of people think that you lose your freedom when you become a Christian, but its actually the exact opposite, Christ sets you free from the pain, the addiction, the things of this world; and gives you peace, joy, and hope.

WHAT LOL
"Without evidence" is part of the definition of faith lmao

in any case, it's probably a good time to quit bw anyway.

Despite my lack of belief in any omniscient/omnipotent power, I do admire that you have the conviction and discipline to do what you feel is right. I hope your sc free life is happy and fulfilling.
