You will literally forget everything about highschool the second you leave.
My highschool experience was miserable garbage. I tried to make the best out of it, I joined a lot of clubs. Ultimately I didn't fit in to a single one and I couldn't draw anything positive no matter how hard I tried. People just don't like me, or they pretend to so they can use me because I'm pathetic.
The one thing I miss about highschool is at least having 30 minutes a day where I can see the 1 or 2 friends I have instead of 30 minutes a month.

enjoy it while it last, that's all I'm telling you.
You feel like you hate it now, but once you go to college, you have so much to worry about. Because GPA will matter, your extracurricular activities WILL definitely define you to employers when trying to find a job, and that's what college is pretty much is. Get your partying out of the way in your freshman year. I see quite a few slobs in their junior year that still got their head in freshman year and they realize why they can't find a freaking job that pays decent. I know I got off on a tangent but just enjoy HS while you can because you don't have all the shit to worry about when trying to tackle it alone. If you have someone to support you and guide you it won't be so bad but if you don't....Life is about to start.
And also, there WILL be douches in college just like in high school.
Stay busy in college (after partying in freshman year :D), and I mean the good kind of busy, get involved on campus so you don't look like you waltz through college to employers.
(God I miss High School)

I laughed so hard at this.

I'm sick of reading shit like that, not everyone who's into games is anti-social. There must be other reasons that you're anti-social, other than "I like Starcraft."

I think you're talking about prison lol.
To the OP, get over it, everyone has to go through it and its the only way you will get into a decent College and not just drop out and become nothing. Try actually making friends and enjoy the stay, since you are forced to be there.

i didn't really dislike the social aspects of high school
but holy fuck waking up at 6 am every day for the stupid fucking classes was murder

I am not actually that unpopular, infact I know a lot of people and a lot of people do know me, just the idea and the role that this place plays in my life right now, I don't like.... Knowing someone and being friends with someone is very different. And as people said, it's also about having the right mindset. There were a lot of people I thought were retarded/douchebags in my high school, but I experienced nowhere near the rage that you're venting right now. It's basically the same everywhere, college isn't going to magically make the stupid people disappear, you still need to actively do something to not be bogged down by it...
I'm in high school currently, and I'm actually enjoying it alot. I've met some cool people, and made some great friends at my school. Maybe its just me, but I don't see all of the cliques and social groups that supposedly pervade high school. I actually haven't seen them, people are really friendly and outgoing, and its easy to ignore the ones who aren't.

For people who actually had lots of friends and had a good time they remember it forever. Joining clubs as a way to have a good time was a big mistake. The way to have fun was to get away form that garbage, not immerse yourself in it.

I frankly see high school past grade 10 in the US just used for babysitting to lower crime rates in delinquents, it's esp pointless when you live in an area like mine and you can just drop out at grade 10 you could try to complete high school at that grade but it require you to take community college at the same time as high school for certain credits purposely dulled out to prevent early graduation and go to community college were you don't need to take the ap test to get college credit for classes.
Also i'd like to point out "man i'm better and more aware of myself then all these dam shitty highschoolers this place sucks" you are so original there i mean totally dude.

I did it to try to meet people. I thought I could make friends if I forced myself into social situations but I was wrong

just focus on le studiez and get into a good college. noone remembers high school peers anyway.

High school was great fun. It just depends on what 'group' you're in. If it sucks that much for you just get drunk/high before class.
But seriously + Show Spoiler +do it, or at least try it.

The "group" I was in for high school was basically "Asian nerds." I still had a crapton of fun and we still did whatever we wanted lol, and these people are basically the best friends I've ever had and I doubt that will change anytime soon. Too many people make a big deal out of nothing TBH, stop taking your shit so seriously and you'll realize there was never anything to bitch about to begin with, you were just being a nub. There's no external factor that's forcing your time to be miserable and/or worthless.

What was so bad about high school? In terms of academics, it was just how well you could bullshit your way out of things. :D I really had tons of fun, especially in my junior and senior year. Wasn't much of a partier, but still, if I could go back to high school, I probably would. Life was just so much easier back then...):

High School is fun..you just have to carry the "I AM THE FUCKING MAN" attitude with you, and show your confidence, people love that, unfortunately I didn't do that that till this year.

High school was so boring. Undergrad was pretty fun, now grad school is when im working the hardest and partying the hardest haha grad school is stress hell but also very fun :D. High school for me was just my group of friends then I really didn't pay attention to the other groups. There wasn't any hierarchy and cliques in the classical sense though.

there arent any clique's in my school i think i hang out with everyone i dont really stick to one clique but mostly if u like getting fucked up ur pretty much friends with everyone else kinda funny like that
